Short question: i finished the quest, now the holiday carousel still has the ?locked by goal? space, the rest is (of course) gone. Can i assume this is just in case in future the carousel is used again, so it can be put in storage now? Or will there be another goal soon (this month)?

Yes, unfortunately no more crafting in the carousel for now. That is sad because I made several more snow heads hopping to craft more snow knights after finishing the quest... too bad

Nevertheless, I finally have my bouncing snowman jumping around the festive area

Reminder!
Speeding up the Holiday Ferris Wheel only costs 2 Gems, and guarantees a Gingerbread Helper spawn (which drops 1 Star Cookie guaranteed) You only need about 10 Energy.
Don't buy the Star Cookies outright in the Potion Shop for 16 Gems each. (and especially don't buy the finished Holiday Star in the upgrading screen for 170 Gems)

For me, the Starry Glitter is no problem, only the Star Cookies. So I wouldn't recommend speeding up the Snow Knight. It's much more expensive and doesn't guarantee a Gingerbread Helper spawn.

Edit, but we still have 6 whole days, so speeding up is probably not on the table yet (maybe just a reminder not to stress to much, because there is a relatively cheap way to speed up your progress if time is running out)

Last 3 collections of the 3 snow knights (9 total) have not spawned the gnome which drops the cookie. The Ferris wheel still spawns 1 each hour, but after getting 1 snow knight to spawn the gnome each collection, I'm now getting none. Is anyone else experiencing this? I maxed out on the starry glitter and ever since, so gnome/cookie either.

I would have suspected that, except I always collect from the Ferris wheel first and then the snow knights. I would just have defeated the gnome from Ferris wheel, so I know there wasn't another monster. Just collected again and no spawn from the 3 nights - just the one from the Ferris wheel.


Update - after 5 collections (15 total snow knights), I finally had a gnome spawn. Let's hope this continues so I will get back to the 1 of the 3 each collection.

Hmm… Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but couldn’t they at least have made it so that it drops coins? I mean, what would it have cost them to do that.
