Bake...bake...bake...bake...then bake some more
Mass producing brownies is the fastest (but most time consuming) way to earn XPs.
You start of with one oven and one mixer; put the mixer into storage and buy another oven for your kitchen so you can bake more brownies.
However, do mix an occasional batch of blueberry muffins in so as to increase your average coin intake, otherwise your next question would be "How to make money quickly and easily".
If you have money to burn, start cooking a high EXP dish, then immedietly trash it and start cooking another, trash it, etc etc.
Not sure why you would want to level up faster though? If you're enjoying a game wouldn't you want it to last longer rather than just racing through it?!
Getting tips adds to your points, so in the beginning I bought a lot of extra tables and worked on getting neighbors and tipping others in order to receive tips back.
I think this is a good strategy (in addition to what others have said), since in the beginning you can't cook enough to keep your bakery open 24/7.
I know how you feel why you like to level up
1. To unlock appliance and be able to buy more appliances
2. To unlock items and have more choices of items in the Design
3. To have more recipes available
You need to spend money to buy gems.this gems helps you get things done fast and buy things that will level you up fast.
What level are you at?
I agree that brownies gives you lots of XP, but you have to bake, and bake and bake and keep looking at it ALL THE TIME. Same thing with cookies.
So when you get bored of cooking that recipe, my choices where the following (I include level requirements when I know it):
FAST RECIPES (when you can check your game every hour, they last one hour unless indicated otherwise)
Mixer:
Jasmine tea (L25) This was my super favourite, gives a lot of XP and I still bake it from time to time when in need of XPs. Once you are done with it go for the two above, in that orderSweet tea (L33, 30 minutes)White peach tea (L35)
Dehydrator: Lotus (the only available recipe). This recipe gives a good amount of XP but do not buy more than one of these appliances, they are not profitable if you buy more than one!
Shaved Ice Machine: Blue raspberry ice cream (2h)
Juice machine: Orange juice (2h) Expensive appliance, do not buy lots
Oven: Fruitcake (L25) then Celebration triffle (L22)
Eggstove: Chocolat bunnies (4 hours)
Emerald oven: Rainbow cupcake
Treat dispenser: Fruity Yogurt (2h, around level 32, I don't remember exactly)
Bread oven: Hot cross Buns
LONG RECIPES (when you can not check your game often, recipes that would still give you a decent amount of XPs given the time needed to bake them, ordered by time)
Around 1 day
Oven - Blueberry buckle (L41)
Deep fryer - Glazed donut (L30)
Witch cauldron - Witch hat cookies
18 hours
Oven - Black forest cake (L50) or seashell cupcakes (L49)
16 hours
18 hours recipes are slightly better, but higher level so I use these for now
Witch cauldron - cauldron cupcakes
Candy oven - Candy corn Muffin
12 hours
Oven - Watermelon cake (L55), Apple pie (L37), Cannoli (L30)
Italian oven - Focaccia
Deep fryer - Donut surprise (L30)
3 bears oven - Just right
10 hours
Oven - Blueberry rhubarb pie (L36) This gives a decent XP/hour, better than shorter recipes! I try to bake them overnight, Blueberry chiffon (L44), NY bagel (L32)
9 hours
Oven - B&w cookies (L44) It gives more XPs/hour than 8h oven recipes
8 hours
Mixer - Frosty coffee (L50)
Ice cream machine - Banana split
These are the lists I use for muself, based on Sehana's charts (check her site here) and my experience (on sehana's chart some level requirements are missing, but I kept track of them because I started baking for XP quite early).
I hope you find it useful.
I'd totally agree with what arale_norimaki has said, and would like to emphasize that it's really important to develop a "playing/baking routine" in order to level up quickly. After all, it is a kind of strategy game that requires a certain amount of planning if you want to advance rapidly. Try to bake 24/7 by combining short and long-term recipes depending on your (real-life) daily routines and schedule, try to check your game frequently in order to avoid any food starting to rot because you didn't serve it in time.
I would disagree, though, when it comes to having to spend real money on the game. I'm a level 96 player (soon to reach 97) and I have managed to work my way up to that level within less than 8 months. I never bought gems, but only used those I was awarded in the game, and couldn't see how buying gems with real money would add to the game play in any way. But, sure, that depends on what this game is supposed to be for you and whether a virtual bakery is really worth spending real money on in your eyes...
Agreed! Buying gems makes BS easier, but less interesting. As I stated before somewhere else in the forum, given what gems cost and what you can actually do with them, all the unannounced changes that happen overnight in this game and the cost of other games, I really think you must LOVE BS to spend money on gems![]()
