That means that your leader did not promote anybody yet. I am the leader of UNBREAKABLE, and i have promoted the people I trust to elders. i am very happy about them and they help me a lot.

That is no silly question. The alliance leader and elders have the possibility to promote member. They do it on the alliance overview page (red flag). :-)

Actuall, they are no use at all. once uppon a time they were great combined with healers. But they were nerfed and are useless also in their maxed variant. but you never know what FM changes next. ☺️

Unfortunately, there is no fast level up in this game. Upgrade of buildings takes ages and promotion times of troops take even longer. I estimate it takes half a year to max your base...
