Just got my third armor from the Armordillo in two days - maybe seven or eight collections at most. Knock on wood.

Just got my second armor so once a day so far.

Also sand walls, sand spire, and more. We got them from the desert event (can?t remember the name); they likely go on sale occasionally.

Why would you think it has a 50% drop rate? That is not stated anywhere. The equivalent item in Misty Marshland was a rare drop and in fact, we were advised then that it could take a couple of weeks...

That being said, I got one on my first collection.
