Also, more trees. I've mastered almost all of the existing inventory of trees and my farm is slowly becoming deforested.

I'd love really longterm crops, 3 or 4 days. I like my crops to grow slowly.

I've noticed the same problem. I'll plant mizuna and another 12 hour crop together! The mizuna withers and the other is fine. I'm guessing mizuna withers at about 18 hours.

I like Farm Story best of all the games. If this goes away, I may just lose my taste for all Teamlava games.
