I cannot believe that the fae kitchen - with a 4hour timer - is not a guaranteed drop. What an absolute joke.

I think I found the, duh. I had a monster in board. SoRry
I ended up buying the extra cauldron for gems. I got a late start and figure I will never get all this stuff made with just one. This is a shame that S8 has done this. I cannot get the little chef to spawn very often. I get fangbeasts instead. SMH
I really hate what I perceive as a bait-and-switch. Since the finished loaf, jam, etc. is an "Event Supply", and since hats & cranberries are not in the picture, I would be extremely upset if I got one of these and received what you did. No way would I be happy with that purchase!
Sorry if this question has already been answered, but I read all of page 1 and I'm a little confused. How do we get the Sweet Tooth (not as a spawn)? I hope it's not one of the random drops from the Baron's feast adventure.....
I didn't have enough gold nuggets to get Alina a few months back, so I really want to get the Sweet Tooth that has some similar drops.
(As a side note- will there ever be a chance to get characters or prizes from old events or is it only available during the event and then gone forever? I was pretty new at events during the summer and would have totally used all my gems or spent a little cash to get Alina if I had realized how rare sweets related drops are...)
Thanks!
I don't know how to get Sweet Tooth either (not the spawn).
I hope he/she isn't a rare random drop from somewhere.. we already have so much luck related prizes :(
Prizes from former events can show up in a sale and/or the Baron's Tent.
Getting 1 or 2 Cabbage Huts (1 you can buy for Gems and 1 for Golden Troll Tokens) is a good investment.
For example, right now the 'Thankful Gnomes' are in the Tent (they drop a feast every 2 days), they were the main prize in a thanksgiving event last year.
Hm, Yeah. The prize preview banner is apparently just a "snippet" of what can be won, not the full list (show the Special/Exclusive prizes and higher-tier Event Supplies [crafted vs. basic drop supply] to lure 'em in).
Isn't that common for this type of prize (essentially a luck chest)?
(I also got 3 Cranberries and 3 Chef's Hats from my only Feast Supplies chop. Seems like chopping high volumes of Feast Supplies is necessary to stand a chance at anything good. 😊 )
I feel like the only good drop from the baron?s feast is the cranberry bread since it requires drops from ivy?s hut to make it 👌

Let's see what the permanent version will be!
I'm sorry... do the last 2 HP slots for the Sweet Tooth spawn say 140 HP and then 300 HP? 😭
Oh dear. (That might be "only" 70/150 hits, but is hot fun to see 😂 .)
Got 3 Sugared Potions from Ivy 2 collections in a row; only crafting one Cranberry Bread today. 🥺
Is anyone without Gem-purchased Energy droppers, or who doesn't rely on the Unlimited Energy packages, plodding through this Event?
I'd probably buy a Package if it had those awesome deals on Expansion Permits ( 2 Expansion Permits + 50 Wisp Lanterns + Event Drops in the $9.99 pack, I forgot the $4.99 Pack but it was a great deal! [Edit: Found it! It was 10 Expansion Permits for $4.99 ( 🤩✨🥰✨ ) along with Unlimited Energy + Event Drops ]) we had just before the last non-storyline expansion release, but like this i'm just trying to see how far my daily energy refills (and the droppers that boosted my initial event progress) can take me.
ShibuyaCloth had a link to a similar event ‘Tis only a game’ and I read through that previous event thread. From what I could see, the spawned shadow baron in that event is the equivalent of the spawned sweet tooth. I have the shadow baron (not spawned) but do not remember how I got it. From the info in that thread it was on the market for 400 gems, bearing in mind that this is a daily energy dropper with chance of rotten cabbages. Perhaps, sweet tooth will be available on the market at some point, hopefully not for as many gems as it is not an energy dropper, according to SW’s list on page 1.
Ooh really? How many Baron's Adventures did you do? 🤔 (Any extra drops from there? Strategy ? 👀 )
I'm on Goal 10. Only sent out 1 Baron's Adventure because i've been spending all my energy shaking down my plots and farmhouses for Chefs. Wondering if that was the wrong strategy 😂
Be kind, drops! 😥❤️
would have been nice if the cauldron would fume and bubble, now it just sits there
Troll chef spawn only dropped 2 hats in the end and gnome chef drops with every hit
Competition!

The boys (and me) are gonna be so disappointed is Sweet Tooth is a Gem purchase
I think I fell back a bit due to 2 "Big Boss" spawns from smaller Questlines the same day, that set me behind about 4-6 Energy collection cycles (8-12 hours) alone. Plus a few other spawns from Questlines I forgot were still quite active.
Hopefully we're doing alright, those non-guaranteed drops AND more high-required-collections low-spawn-rates look hard to get past!
Ahh alright! Interesting.
Thank you, to you as well! ❤️
I know it's annoying to repeatedly get only three sugared potions from Ivy (happened to me too), but bear in mind that we only need to make 10 cranberry bread total. In the other, more common event type we have to make 22 of the craft that requires Ivy's drop.
Even if we never got more than 3 potions at each collection, that would still only be a total of 14 collections, versus 22 in other events. That's eminently doable!
Thanks queensransom, you're right.
I see I 'only' need another 7 Bread, and we still have a lot of time.
I find I'm having a harder time then usual getting 'a grip' on the Goals.
I'm on Goal 13, and Chef Gnomes are supposed to drop Glimmer Cinnamon (but I fought 2 and they both didn't). Is it a random/ rare extra drop?
Definitely not guaranteed, seems very rare- forerunner Stymie has reported very low drops:
Thank you for the feasibility reminder, queens_ransom!❤️ Personally i'm not worried about finishing the basic Cranberry food crafts before events' end if that was all we needed to do, but the low drops from Ivy for the Cranberry Bread just prevent us from reaching these "long desert stretches" where a little (lot of) patience is needed. So the low drop rates = awwww come on, let me advance. 🤣 It's easier for me to be patient when I feel like I have a good buffer, and especially when I can group multiple needed drops into one satisfying spawn. The "non-guaranteed" drops popping up later in the Event look scary when you're not there yet. I want to be where we can possibly triple-down effectiveness with the Gnome Chefs dropping Hats, Floured Dough for our Jams, and the apparently very rare Glimmer Cinnamon can (possibly) all drop from one Gnome Chef spawn- not stuck in back. 😊❤️
So the fae spice from the fae kitchen is random? I didn't get any from my first collection. When you do get fae spice is it only a max of one? That's going to drag things out.
Yes, fae spice and glimmer cinnamon drops are rare but you need only 8 fae spice and 16 glimmer cinnamon in total, possible in the week and half left of this event. Even 3 sugar potions for every Ivy?s hut collection is do-able in worse case scenario, as you only need 40 in total. It just means you have to check-in the game for most days of the event at least every 4h. What is quite mind-numbingly boring and tedious even when you have a load of energy to spare, are the chef hats required for chef crafts. 1000 if you want 1 troll chef and 1 gnome chef. I can do that as I don’t work and have a large stash of energy but that is a lot of time tapping and fighting spawns and the chef drops are not too impressive either. Nice to have the rare drops from the adventures but if you are short of energy/gems/time for babysitting game, then focus on completing the main do-able goals to get Myra which is an energy dropper, IMHO is the best prize.
I just got my first collection from the Fae Kitchen and it was only one spice. Now I need to wait four hours for the next collection. I think that I will focus on getting one of the chef pets. I don?t see finishing this event unless I spend gems on a 2nd kitchen and a 2nd cauldron, which I won’t
I guess I don’t understand I need to get the gold berries and so I bought the gold bush and I got l gold and all the rest red. Is this natural. So how do I get the gold ones. Thanks for your help
:(
From the description, the Golden bush has a higher chance of finding Gold Berries.
Whether that small increase is worth 20 Gems... depends on your in-game energy supply and how much time you can spend chopping, I suppose. The fact that you found 1 out of 20 chops to be a Golden Berry would be a higher drop rate since it can take easily way more than 2 regular cranberry bushes to find 1 Golden Berry normally. However, we need lots of (regular/red) Cranberries for the main questline anyway.
Personally i'd stick to the 1,000 Coin regular Cranberry Bushes, as coin is easier for me to replenish than gems.
Keep in mind that we only need to do the Adventure once if you're just trying to check off the optional side goal, but if you're going for the Special prizes and will have to do many runs gem cost would add up quick ^^'
Good luck! ❤️
Cool. I guess for me it is more the issue of the boredom from finishing the event. I really want the little gnome chef because I have gnomes in my kingdom and I love the way they look. I am not interested in trying for the final energy dropper because that’s too many chefs hat for me to get.
Two gnome chefs and one fangbeast from collection of 20 farmhouses.
Four troll chefs from 60 corn collections.
