Is there anyway if removing the hundreds of items I don?t want that are in storage? Many of the items are no able to be sold so just left to take up memory space.

Unfortunately not. Inventory management has been a hot topic for a long time. The memory issue is only relevant (mostly) to whats on your board and of those you visit.
I would love a building that lets us convert old items into something more useful. Or maybe a quest that recycles older inventory items. Could be fun.
