I think I?ll sit this one out. It took me 6 attempts to defeat Tulip, 3 attempts for Lavender, and 5 attempts for Azurite. And I had used the recommended dragon types for these battles. It?s a bit of a turn-off for the beginning of a tournament, and most of my dragons need to heal after the previous tournament.

Who needs a Champion when you have a Dark dragon?

I guess the tournaments don't matter any more. Thanks Valkyrie for posting your results. I'll post mine in a few minutes.
Once upon a time we had a lot of players on tournament threads and they helped others with their results. Now it seems I and maybe two others post while complaints become the norm about "rigged" tourneys. While it is strange how battles 17 and 21 have taken a many dragons out, I always say persistence is the key.
I implore those that are still left playing the tourneys to please help your fellow players. You never know, you could be the one to get another out of a difficult battle. Thank you.

Got it on my baby account and gave up on my two older accounts, which got stuck on Crown Jewel. Used my videos for gifts instead of skipping battle wait times and got lots of food and 5 Adventure Tickets, so good enough.

I have s new hypothesis, which I maybe shouldn't share, but here goes: A few months ago I got a new phone so I could add a 3rd account. (Pathetic, eh?) Anyway, the phone was free as long as I pay for another line. It's my first Android. I was playing my baby account almost exclusively on the new phone, and I felt like that account was very lucky st battling. Well now I play all 3 accounts on whichever phone happens to be charged at the time. Lol! I noticed that my baby account isnt as lucky in battles when I use my iPhone. My conclusion: it is the *phone* that is lucky, not the account. Wondering if Androids have better luck in battles?!?!

I do great in tournaments, without using any Champs. I swear my DARK Dragon will beat any Champ and most Diamond Dragons too. Only 100 essence and very low food cost to level him up quickly.

Skipped this tournament as we were out of town visiting my daughter for Thanksgiving and very busy with activities. I too am amazed at the drop in interest in battling (so few players posting results) ...but, i think it is due to the dragons offered to the winners...i think it is due to the fact that the game so rarely offers up a champion dragon. When i see a champion offered i get excited & try for it but for a super rare feel it is hardly worth the effort needed in time & patience. Just my idea about lack of interest....

Tough tournament for me. Losses at Battles 1, 2 and 3. Strength and Warrior Queen took out a lot of dragons. Diamond and Infinity L12 eventually did the business.

Big issues with trying to defeat Aquarknight - about a day and a half on this dragon. Eventually got there with Infinity 12.

Originally was also going to give the tournament a miss, but once past Warrior Queen has a good run with Diamond, Glasswing and Rainbow Sentinel taking out most of the dragons first time until Aquarknight.

Infinity is a new - ish dragon for me and is doing the business. Diamond/Glasswing continue to be my best battlers.

i didn't write down my winners. i finally finished with a couple of hours to spare. i was cutting it close. i just wanted the north glows or whatever they are called so i could get the monthly dragon since they lowered the amount to 25K. i figured i should do the tourney since i cant breed the rare common dragon for tales.

I already have the Stoic Dragon, just recently got I think from the Battle Arena and now it is again the grand price in the Arena?

Yep, another Stoic and not the dragon it's supposed to be - Solstice Dragon.

Nope, the Solstice Dragon is meant to be the prize for the Arena battles.

The final battle round (30) is Stoic and not Solstice even though the prize is actually Solstice :confused:

ETA: I beat Stoic with Dread Captain 15 and received Solstice in my storage as the prize.
