Goblin goal from Gnomish Storyline is required?

Do we really have to craft a goblin to clear this goal? Or can it please be set to time out? Or at least offer the chance to skip it for a gem to clear it?

I do not want the goblin. He is one of the most hideous S8 characters in castle story, which is wonderful! and I know some players want multiples. Just not for my kingdom, so a kind no thank you. Seems strange to have finished the storyline completely and still have this in the goal book to have to do.
