I expanded to the spot I attached in the photo. My expansions always cause the game to go into connection error mode...this never happens unless I expand. Usually I can close and reopen and all is good. This time the expansion is completely gone! It?s not even a spot to expand to anymore and it took my two explorer permits. Is this a known glitch?

Yes it unfortunately happens. If you force close a few more times it might return. If not then please reach out to Support and they will be able to return the yellow arrows. Double check your royal points is at the right amount as the tick will show even if you don't have enough points on your board. This will always cause the game to rollback and it can look like your picture or make it look like the items given are lost. They aren't gone though. As soon as you fix RP it's all good again. ;)
(Force close: double click home screen, swipe up and off the screen the thumbnail pics. This clears the app from device memory.)

I reached level 55 and I was supposed to be able to expand in bakery story and it wants gems to expand to 17 x 20. I should be able to do it without paying for gems at level 55. Where is that option to expand at level 55?
