I had the impression that we should receive a river upon mastering the fourth level in the market, but I did not receive any river upon mastering copper bracelets.
Is this a system glitch or are we supposed to receive any river at all?

Oops I forgot to mention, I'm playing on iphone4, iOS ver5.0, ES ver 1.0.4
I think the river is only for mastering contracts on City Story not Empire.
That is not true, the FAQ in those threads specifically calls it out. It definitely does not work now for any of the masteries. I use an Android.Quote:

That is the thread I was talking about.
You do not earn a River from the Mastery bonus. The only special reward is the gem earned from completing Mastery Ranks 2 and 4.
I know that is true now but it was not always the case. I asked a few of my neighbors in the level 90 range how they had so many rivers and they all said the same thing, market mastery.Quote:

You level slower, less useful gifts, fewer buildings, etc. Even the cool things in there (like rivers) is now removed. I thought I would have enjoyed Empires more, but it is not maintained and allow bugs like this to go through without fixing or adequate research on its history.
