Not recieving items when up a level

when getting a new level im not receiving new items when clicking on the stove?I dont see bagels or pizza ?Can you tell me what is going on with this?When i visit neighbors i see those items on there stove or grill.Thanks.Btw, this is happening with both of my games on my ipod.
