Update: Doesn't look like I'll be able to get this on any of my 3 accounts. People are "falling" all over themselves to get this gator!

It appears that I may have to fight someone to the death for the Nightfalligator. And so it shall be.

Okay, well that was weird. You just can't predict what will happen from one lb to the next. Last time I thought I had a lock on the final animal, only to be "sniped" at the very end. This time I easily finished (on my baby account) with about a 1000 points between me and the runner up. I was worried because I had to be focused on work at the time the event was winding down, but I managed to do a boost and hatch some things right before the buzzer, but I didn't even need to because no one else on my entire lb boosted in the last hour or so. I could have saved those for points to go toward the community event. Glad I got him. :) Not sure if it is a Nightfall - igator or a Nightf -alligator.
