I had 22 gems this morning but now it shows 7 gems. Is there any way you can find out what happened to the 15 missing gems? I might have pressed a button by mistake without realizing it.

There is no way to check if how you spent gems. You can look through your inventory if you want to see if you have something that you accidentally purchased though.
If you did accidentally purchase something with in game currency, Storm8 unfortunately can’t help you.
