Fire pups took 5 or 6 pets to grow (20 min between pets), then 1.5 hours to collect. 5 fire wolfs dropped 2 Fire tendrils each, 1 dropped bacon, another dropped hide. Unfortunately, the ice wolf dropped 1 fire tendril and nothing extra ( 40 gems, same timers, less drops).

I purchased 20 firewolfs and got 32 fire tendrils from their first drops.
There is a max of 1 snowdrift in inventory, I put 2 to cook in the magic force and have 1 in inventory
Anybody stuck at goal 6 like me? The goal requires to upgrade the bonfire to level 6, which I did, but the goal is not checked off no matter what I do. I already forced close the game a few times.

After an hour in the magic forge, the snowdrift gives you Greta, a little ice pup. It's only possible to craft 1, for my 2nd one I was only given the option to sell for 0 coins.
Greta has a 6 min timer for petting, so she will probably grow into an ice wolf
