PURPLE glimmer golems come from the glimmerdust troves.
Nobody knows where the regular glimmer golems appear.... Glimmergate??? Dunno.

Lol ran out of energy, went to do some real life stuff, came back thinking I'd have lots of energy. Boo! I guess it's only been less than 10 minutes. Only have 3 energy! This is going to take a while!
