Not able to get new items

I am noticed on several other Farms, that are nowhere near as high a level that I am on are able to purchase item that are not available to me.
I looked for an update but saw none.
Would I have to reinstall to be able to get these items and if I did would I loose my progress?

Do you play on android or iOS?

Some items could be seasonal items that are now removed. Some others on lower levels could of starting playing before you, but have not stopped so they have a lower level.
