I collected from both sawmills and chopped down 3 aspen trees and 3 oak trees but not 1 living wood to be seen.
I wonder if this is a glitch or a man made bottleneck for my lower level kingdom.

As tempted as I am to participate due to the beams, the thought of working incredibly hard, bleeding over a thousand energy for nothing, makes me wary. And if I wait too long to start, no way will I finish. Best not to start, then. Will visit here to see how the event goes. Thanks to all who post.

The description of the wizard trap says it spawns a lvl 10 winter bonfire...instead of a monster. Has anyone bought it to see if it gives you a bonfire? Lol

Normally there’s at least one package to buy.
Does the frost pup grow faster or give better drop rates? Any reason to spend the gems? Normally it seems there’s more information from people. Maybe we are just getting tired of needing to spend and/ or work really hard for rather useless rewards.
I just collected from my four mines, and got zero coal.
For step 4:
Hearthstones,1 hour - 12 stone, 2 living wood, 8 spark faeries
Firewood, 1 hour - 12 wood, 2 living wood, 8 spark faeries
The fire wolf drops bacon + random drops of fire tendrils x 2
Goal 6:
Visit fire wolf
Gather melted snow drift (from fire wolf)
Investigate the melted snow drift (1h in magic forge)
Upgrade the winter bonfire to lvl 6
Upgrade requirements for level 6:
3x bags of coal
3x fire wood
3x hearth stones
20x fire tendrils
