So will mods be giving us info here about upcoming updates, or do we just guess what we think is gonna happen?

Is this post like a timeline of when updates will happen? Or am I misunderstanding this? I'd love a timeline that says the hot dog cart will open in 2016 and then the carnival in 2017 or something like this. I'd love to know what happened to the import store up the hill. It's gone from stormie's restaurant area.
There is a similar thread in the BS2 forum, where we discuss new events before they start, because the ingredients in the shops shows up a couple of hours before the actual event starts. We don't have this system in RS2, so there is not really much to discuss here, except for sharing our thoughts about what we want to see in future events and updates.
Nobody's posted in here for a while but I figured I'd jump on in anyway.
Can I just say that I'm REALLY hoping the next quest is Fourth of July related? I know it was a week ago, but I remember the Mardi Gras cruise was months after actual Mardi Gras, so I'm hopeful. I was really bummed when we got the sheriff/bandit quest instead of another Uncle Sam quest like last year. :P
Plus I can't think of another possible theme for a July quest/cruise, haha!
I was expecting an Independence Day themed event too. It would be nice to see a Bastille Day cruise now.
Other themes I'd love to see are:
Harry Potter - everything from the wizarding world!
Eisteddfod/St. Davids Day - Welsh theme with Welsh Cakes, Bara Brith, leeks, daffodils, harps and red dragons. We've had Irish, Scotish and British (although it was really London).
Under the sea - mermaids, seaweed wallpaper, shell decorations.
Mediterranean cruise - Baklava, mezze and Ancient Greek decor.
Birthday party - cake, banners, balloons, presents etc.
Summer of Love - flower power!

Ha we got the Under the Sea theme that I was hoping for! :D
I'm a little shocked it isn't Pokemon related. Everyone else is cashing in on the popularity of it, I figured I would see it in other games. Still time for a Harry Potter event guys! Even if it isn't a cruise. July 31st is just around the corner.
Is it terrible that after Cowboys I immediately thought why not have an "Indians" or native event?
I'd like to see a night time event. The moon and street lights, just anything having to do with night. Or maybe space!
