No XP from ringneck dove

I purchased several ringneck doves for $85000 each because it said they gave 105XP every 12 hours. I have collected several times but was only paid 60 coins--no xp! I'm playing on ipad4, have done hard restart as well as deleted and reinstalled, but no change.

You only get the XPs for animals when you buy them. You get only coins when you collect, no XPs.

And they're cute.

Now I understand my mistake. I bought it as a featured item and since the picture was a tree with a dove I thought it was a tree and not an animal. Shoulda realized that 105 xp every 12 hours was too good to be true. Thanks. ��
