Feeding Whiplash is ridiculous for a common. Looking at the food chart, he takes the same amount of food as the SUPER RARE Stargazer. It's a common, COMMON - no way EVER a common should take as much food as this one will.

My math may be off, not feeling well, but it's close to the usual amount I plan for (~350k)

Thank you! My quick head-addition for Lonestar came up with close to 300,000, so I was like huhwhat?!
I've got around 300,000 food in stock, going to have to think very carefully about if I want to do the whole thing. I haven't finished a DT in ages. Not a big fan of the Celestial-type body style, so it all hinges on the token. Hmmmm.

After a second look at Nightwing, he's not so bad for a weird-wing. I like the colors of his wings, and I'm always a sucker for the dark-colored dragons. I might finish this one!

I think you can skip it's tasks in the Tales for 112 bars of Gold. Too bad we can't breed it in advance. I'm curious if it "hatches" on removal from the Roost or cracking off the Nest, for the sake of the Story.

Ok this looks like it's going to be fun..hohum..first attempt for Whiplash..Serpent .... 2nd try.....Fuzzy.. 3rd... Elder..
So that's my quota for the day as Elder will be hatching on the nest for many hours.
I probably don't need it in actual fact as I am very low in food stocks to get to that stage of the tales.

Trying to get Whiplash, using a white breeding with blue/green, and I came up with this 25 hour egg. Any ideas what it is?

That is the limited Gorgeous dragon! It is blue/purple though.

What do you mean by can't breed in advance? Mine is sitting on the nest, ready to hatch for that task, same as I've always done.

What is the breeding time for Whiplash?

8 hours. There are 4 other dragons that have 8 hours for this combo - won't know if you got it until you transfer to the nest.
