I cannot say for certain, as I wasn't able to get the poodle last year when I got some love ovens then, however I did see it on someones farm last year and if looked to be just an animated decoration. Though could be wrong.

He makes one move when you open your game and then doesn't move.
All the monkeys always have has good movement.
When fed he stands there just breathing.

I pushed a change to the animation calls which also mixes them up a bit and makes them more logical and more in line with the other exotic pets: Idle is the standard breathing, Working is the extended arms, Ready is the single-frame.
