Bonus for early finish

It seems to me that if you finish a level in like half the moves you are allowed, you should get enough of a bonus to at LEAST earn a second star. It is very awkward trying to complete all but the last step of the puzzle, then try to make matches that will not affect it just to rack up enough points to get a second star.... then usually you somehow trigger that combo you were holding back for the end unintentionally anyways. This forcing you to make a gazillion superfluous moves in order to get enough stars to open new islands makes no sense to me. Finishing in the smallest number of moves ought to give you the most points.
