You earn leaderboard points for various tasks carried out on your island:
- 3 points for every hour of breeding
- 3 points for every hour of incubation (hatching)
- 3 points for every hour of evolution
- 2 points for every hour of harvesting
- 1 point for every 500 food fed to your dragons
- 20 points collected from the Humming Rest every 2.5 hours
- 60 points collected from the Hummingbird Charm every 2.5 hours
- 1000 points for hatching the Sprout Dragon and raising it to level 10
- 100-375 points for sending out your Sprout Dragon on quests
- 80 extra points for hatching a Breedable Ultra-rare dragon
- 40 extra points for hatching a Breedable Super-rare dragon
- 20 extra points for hatching a Breedable Rare dragon
- 0 points for hatching a Breedable Common dragon

It’s called synchronizing. The players communicate with each other and determine a score they are happy with and work towards it. If you think two players getting the same score is incredible, I wonder what you would have said a year ago when the game had around 20 players coming in first place with the same score.

I checked with our support team to confirm that none of you wrote in to report your concerns to be investigated. If you have concerns about a leaderboard score, please contact our support team. They have access to information that players don't have and can accurately identify if there's inappropriate behavior and take action accordingly.

If you come on the forums and post wild theories about our developers, your account may receive permanent ban with no eligibility for appeal. They work hard on our games and they don't deserve to be accused of doing unethical activity. Especially without any proof. This is not acceptable.

Be responsible for your words. A keyboard is not a shield free of consequences.

You're correct. This has been a strategy since the Leaderboard was introduced and while we don't encourage it, we don't punish it. It requires coordination and if you want to use teamwork to get the same rewards as a way to sidestep the competitive nature of the event -- sure.

We do reserve the right to change our minds about this, but we don't have plans to change it right now unless there's a conflict that moves our hand.
