Dragons and gems

Anyone hear from S8 if dragons will ever drop gems again?

I only figured out the gem thing a couple of months ago and made over a dozen glimmer dragons w my gold tokens, and heated up all my stored eggs in the forge. W about 2 doz dragons, I had a steady little trickle of gems that made a difference over the month. SO SAD they have gone!

Would love to hear if this has changed. My dragons are put away now, all sad in their stable.

It doesn't address adventure gem dry.

I did have gems from both barracks and keep last collection, so, watching this space. It could be that the drop rates were readjusted, or, that I had a bizarrely loooooong dry run.

Sorry, I didn't see a mention of gems from Adventures in your original question.

If it's of any help, I'm still getting gems from my adventures and the handful of neighbors I asked are as well.
