Here we go again!!! Level 105 completed at 18 / 14 2 stars and the game didn't register... Thisnis the second time for this level, similar to what happened to me on level 102

Where is the fun having to do this level all ovEr again!!!! Sutpid ones with timers too!
Several times, especially on shellside city (maybe only that) I complete a level, gives me stars then I go to next level and then compete that and then see stars on earlier levels missing - e.g. I have 0 stars on level 109 but stars on 110-113 (which should not be possible). I have gone back and repeated 109 several times but the stars won't save. At other times it has later saved stars that it wouldn't save before. This problem has only started happening very recently. I have also completed 114 at least twice.

Rebooted phone. Still doing it. So not only do you have the challenge of finishing a level there's a 50% chance it'll loose the results anyway! Just finished a level with 3 stars and its now lost that and the prior level. Doh!!!!!
I hear you! Same bloody thing for me too (see my post). It has only started happening so its either something in the 100+ levels doing it it s change they've made on the last few weeks. But no response to mine or your post do I don't know if they are aware if it or not. It certainly is irritating!
I've merged these threads as you're talking about the same thing. If your both on iOS are you using version 1.1.7 of the game?
This has happened to me at least 10 times in the past week. The game is now effectively stealing my money (at least 300 gold wasted replaying levels). It's happened on levels 121-131, often 2-3 times on particular levels. I am operating from a base in Afghanistan via satellite -- perhaps the long lag is messing with the ability to sync with the server? I already beat 130 once and it didn't save; I've now tried again about 20 times wasting gold. And it says I have 0 stars on 125, even though I've beaten it multiple times already.Quote:

The last time I could start to play on 106 two times, then suddenly I was back on 105?
Did you the game simply continue to the next level but your progress was not saved? Or did the game crash and your progress was lost?Quote:

this happened to me going from level 254 to 255. i passed level 254. played an entire round of level 255, but didn't pass. closed out of the game and came back later, only to see that level 254 had not been cleared. my game didn't crash or freeze or anything weird. i was able to eventually pass 254 again, but was not too happy about having to waste energies on doing so.
I have started having these issues on Monument Isle. Yesterday, I beat 193, went on to play 194 a time or two. When I went back after my energy refreshed, I was stuck back on 193. Today I beat 195, played 196 five times. I just went back after some of my energy refreshed, and I am back on 195! Can somebody fix this? It's not fair to have to waste energy replaying levels I already spent energy beating.
Does anyone actually read this!? I am getting really irritated having to waste all of my energy replaying levels I have already beaten, especially levels that took me several tries to beat the first time and even more to beat again. This is still happening to me frequently. I am now on the island Boneyard Desert. FIX THIS ISSUE, PLEASE.

We resolved a lot of these occurrences in 1.1.7, but we realized they still may occur. In the meantime, when you complete a level, please try tapping the 'X' instead of 'Next' to proceed to the next level. We're sorry for your continued troubles!
Here we go again... I just beat 227 (somehow in 30 seconds) after probably at least 20 attempts. I went on to play 228 with my last energy (came within one move of beating it). Now it is showing that I didn't beat 227 and 228 is locked again. This is really frustrating and has me tempted to just delete the game altogether. Is there any way to have progress restored? This always seems to happen on the levels that give me the most trouble and that cause me to waste a lot of tim and energy to beat again.
The same here. I've just finished 227, and after one unsuccessful attempt with 228, it's locked again. This issue appears second time on this region - the first one with another level (don't remember exactly the number). I had the same bug only once long time ago.
After first times this bug occurred, I thought about it. Didn't help with 227.Quote:

Ugh... It just happened to me AGAIN today. I have been following the advice of going back to the island instead of clicking next to go to the next level. Didn't work this time. I have also taken to taking screen caps every time I beat a level, some have proof. I played 255 at least four times, and now I'm back on 254, which probably took me 15 tries to beat the first time. I'm getting really sick of this.

Have I mentioned how irritating this is!?!? I beat 269 with THREE stars. It said my rewards were 1gold and 1 energy. I X'd out back to the island instead of clicking Next (as suggested), and then clicked 270. It said I was out of energy! I just went back to play 270, and when I clicked Play, I got the "Oh darn! The game has been updated!" message. Oh darn is right because now I am back on 269 and 270 is locked. I AM SO SICK OF THIS! It has been going on for months, and I've wasted so much time, energy, and stars because of this issue that still hasn't been fixed. I'm also sick of reaching a new island only to have to go back and collect more stars because my two and three star wins get erased. Team Lava should fix this or at least compensate people with gold or energy every time it happens.

And now it just stole two more of my energies. I went back to replay 269, and I have zero energy again. I haven't played in hours. Right before I made my previous post, it showed I had two. UGH.
FIX THIS, PLEASE.

It took at least another 15-20 tries (ENERGY) to beat 269 for a second time, and now 270 is locked AGAIN.

Sorry for your continued troubles! We're still working on optimizing the game to prevent issues like this from occurring. When you say you go back to the island instead of tapping next, are you tapping the "replay" button to the left? Please try tapping the "X" at the top right of the dialog box.Quote:

It took me nearly a week to finally beat 293. Ugh.
The stupid pop-up stole 22 gold at the end of level 326 when I wasn't even close to beating it. Then I finally beat the level on my next try, but of course it didn't save my progress. It also stole the energy I got from two stars so I was unable to even attempt 327 before it reset my progress AGAIN.

Same issue since yesterday with level 217.
Completed the level and went to level 218. As soon as i closed the game, and restarted when the energy was refilled, i was send back to level 217, it showed not completed.
Same thing with me.
I have completed 78 many many times and it will not let me go to next level.
It will sometimes do that fast move to next cloud but if I try to open it I get the "Oh darn Not Enough Stars" message.
I'm not getting more than 2 stars no matter how many times I complete 78 (or any other) level.
Also isn't rewarding me with gold bars - that has been stuck at 5 for over a month.
