They keep asking for continued patience, but unfortunately I'm fresh out. Anyone know where I can buy some?
I was posting at the same time. Jake says we will get updated but I'll believe it when it happens. Updating android a year from now will be a year too late for me personally. I'm already level 94 with most of the dragons android can breed. I'm getting bored selling my dragons for 100 coins. I'm getting bored logging in just to clear my habitats and plant food. Breeding dragons once every day or two only to see my millionth common dragons bred trying for a rare/super rare wouldn't be so painful if I could trade it in and collect crafting pieces. Oh that's right, I can't. That's literally all there is to do for android players.
Do they really deserve our continued patience? All they have done is ignore every question we ask then post a generic acknowledgement about us STILL being how many updates behind now? Couldn't even post it in the ongoing thread about the subject, instead we get fine print of the bad news at the bottom of a "we are so excited to announce another cool ios to only feature"!
Week's TL does'nt only want us to spend $$ on donating Gold, but to spend $$ on better devices. I enjoy my cheap Nexus7. Why I wanna spend $500 on one of those Apple IPads or whatever. I think they should STOP creating more stuff for iOS and make more time for us.
The only reason we have an IPad (1st gen) in my house is because it was given to my husband for free by a friend who updated to a newer one. We will not buy any apple tablets in the foreseeable future (yes we could afford it if we wanted it). I could have moved my tl games to the IPad but that won't happen, I refuse. I was given my choice of tablets for my birthday last September and after researching them, I picked the nexus 7. Dear ios users, there is nothing wrong with them. I will even admit the IPad is well designed. The battery lasts forever, even with my kids never closing apps as they change games every 5 minutes. No need to get defensive about apple devices, it's purely a personal decision. I just prefer android to iOS.
If tl can't get their act together then I will take my business else where. I don't just play ds, I also play bs and rs. Yes it's a free game but I decided to support the company and future development by purchasing gold/gems for all three games. I didn't decide to support TL exclusively developing for iOS, I supported development for both platforms. For a company that claims to support ios and Android I should NOT have to move my games to an apple device to enjoy all features. If tl can not keep up releasing features on multiple platforms then they should cease to support android until they can figure out how to port the ENTIRE game over.

When will this feature be available on Android/Kindle?
All I can say at this time is that it will be available on Android/Kindle, along with all of the backlogged features. We're working on a way to catch things up and keep them caught up. Your patience is appreciated."
This sounds kinda re-assuring.... kinda....
How can they work on catching us up if their focusing on more and more updates for iOS? It seems they don't check this post that often.
It's funny. I have an iPad but I refuse to play DS on it. I want it on my phone, the thing I actually carry with me and can play in my spare time when I'm out and about.
So I'm guessing if we update to the one with the new features, we get the high food costs. I don't think I'll transfer until they increase food costs in ND or lower the food cost on all versions.
I would be surprised if developers read it at all. I think it's the mod's jobs to forward comments and suggestions to employees of TL.
The reassuring comment from Jake is the same thing he said about nd features, trading and crafting. He also said that about the pink dragons, which happens to be one thing TL came through on and managed to give to android. From past discussions with the mods it's because the coding is different for features such as the boosts, trading and crafting versus another dragon color.
I think you should be able to choose how much gold you give you friend andmake things easyer for people who doesn't want to buy gold
