Well dang, if I am going to keep getting fangbeasts (not only from the farmhouses, but from the falcon) and sit around waiting to click on a few items every two hours, I might as well grow some aspen trees and work on my timeless Academy timeline.

Ok now I completed chapter4, upgradedthe pyramid to level 4 and still no change in the look of the pyramid, but it says level 4. Is this what everyone else see?s. Just hope it changes when complete. If anyone has level 4 pyramid, please let me know if you see a change from the way it looked originally. Hate to think it?s all for nothing. Thanks
Why after I finished the two adventures for the two falcons it said they are in my storage but the are not there. Restart the game few times and there is no falcons. The mission is saying that they are in storage.

I'm sure most players realize this, but before you go to bed, make sure you have sent the knights out on an adventure. In the morning, upgrade the pyramid and start the next chapter, but don't collect from the adventure until the goal says to search the desert. This way you've saved two hours and will have one less adventure to wait on.
Hello! I am waiting for chapter 5 to open and I need only a few more riddles to summon a Sphinx, but they are no longer spawning. Does it do this in between chapters?
Anyone know why the timer is so different between finishing the evnt and the ability to finish the spinx/purchase a Value Pak?

(This was taken earlier; mine now read 10 days/6 days, respectively)
Also, VERY IMPORTANT IF YOU GIFT OTHERS DAILY, esp if it's the same neighbors who you want to send the event reqs to: scroll to the BOTTOM of the Messages queue to return gifts, else at least some requests WILL get stuck in the queue and you won't see them for perhaps days. I have noticed this outside of events with regular storyline requests, plus it occurred in Dragon Story. (I gift my other accounts and noticed this) So don't just return gifts from the top of your Messages.
And if I recall correctly, in DS the Forum recommendation was to stop sending storyline reqs/gifts a few days before an Event neighbor requisition ask.
Adding onto this: it seems that many supplies drop even after finishing a chapter. I saw those posts and figured why not, it won?t hurt anything. Well, the supplies still drop, but the adventure disappeared. Best to follow the advice and not close the chapter until you are ready for the next one.
the falcons fell, but then disappeared. I don't know what happened, but they are nowhere to be found. I wrote to support, but for now I do not have an adequate answer from them. If I have to wait long for them, I will definitely lose the event, for which I invested a lot of personal money, for which I would ask for compensation if they do not solve my problem in the next few hours. Thanks!
Thanks for your reply.. i was able to see this adventure now.. Btw, sphinxes in my game is not dropping energies as well..
Good luck with the Neighbors requests everyone!
Force closing helps you see new requests and adds the Desert Map Pieces you received from other players to your total.

Hey I did not get the goal to give wheat. I thought that I missed seeing it in the pre-coffee haze but I am at Goal 3 which is to go on 2 adventures which means Goal 1 was give glimmer bulbs (which I did) and Goal 2 was neighbor requests.
Did anyone have to give wheat?
I did get the Give Wheat goal (Give 20 Wheat), but not give Glimmerbulbs.
I'm on lower-lvl requirements.
Is it an either/or?
Edit: Hey so it looks like it's an either/or, both steps are listed as "5-1" on the front page so you'd either get 5-1 to give Wheat (Lower level maybe) or 5-1 to give Glimmerbulbs (Higher level maybe) ?
Just to be sure, did anyone have to do both?Quote:
Chapter 5: text from top of screen
Chapter 5:
5 - 1 Give Wheat (Supplies for our journey!) 0/20
5 - 1 Give Glimmerbulbs (A refreshing treat in the desert!) 0/30
The other same-goal-numbered are: 8-3 (Give Grits, or Give Pasta), and 10-2 (Give Breaded Fish, or Give Hearty Feast).
Wish i'd noticed sooner, I went and prepped all of them. 😅
(Oh well, more supply for adventure trades and elves! ❤️)
I'm having some issues with requests from other players. I check each morning and complete requests. But I often get messages later that day showing requests that were sent two days ago.
For the event, I've had a few issues. I clicked exit after placing the first oasis because my tired brain was thinking I was purchasing them and I didn't want to keep placing them (like rock piles). The second did not go into inventory so I purchased one for gems. (Edit...I must apologize, I just now was able to find the other oasis in the inventory....I think closing and re-opening the game made a difference. It wasn't there before.). My falcons didn't show up for placement so I closed the game and reopened it then they showed up.
I wanted to give my feedback to the designers. I appreciate the work they've put into the event but I'm not enjoying it. I feel like the clock is too short on this one. I'm finding it a little frustrating not being able to go at my own pace. I generally feel that the other event types have better pacing for time. The stop and go gives a disruptive feeling (you want to encourage people to play the game rather than throw up roadblocks). It is seriously off-putting. I'm finding this event is frustrating in a way other events aren't. I've already started this one, so I'm going to work on it, but I am not wanting to do a chapter event in the future. I've seen some feedback suggesting others may feel the same way.
Is it possible that the 2 day old neighbor requests are due to the neighbor flooding more than 20 daily requests (or however many the cutoff is) and then the system's response being to spread out the backlogged excess over the next few days until it's caught up?
I don't know exactly how it works but if it only sends out the first 20/whatever-amount and then starts glitching, it might explain the delayed ones.
I frequently have to accept the same request twice (both neighbor Quest requests, and accepting new neighbor requests too), and sometimes see the old/delayed requests come through as well.
I'm sorry about the event issues, Teika! Glad the falcons showed up- for the others, it looks like the suggestion for missing items is to contact support? :/
Quite a hassle when we just want to power through.
I've found this storyline to be disjointed due to the presentation, My sidequests auto-completed before I could read Old Thomas' rambles so i'm missing that entire side bit and then getting one tiny chapter segment a day with at least one part waiting-intense means i'm just frantically clicking through to get to the "waiting" part.
The chapter description is tiny (Cleo has most of the page's spotlight- shouldn't she be a silhouette or something for now since we don't know enough about her yet? Maybe her preview and the prize description should be shown with an actual "time until event expires" timer page?) and though we can go back and read that at any time and sometimes the storyline is copied into the forum (thanks all!) I do enjoy seeing it myself in other event styles.
Even though I like the idea of a "storyline chapter" event, I find that i'm not really able to enjoy the story and the actual experience is really... disjointed. 😥
Are the falcons the beasts guarding the temple (whaat?), or is Seraphina? 😣
I'm relying heavily on the forum for continuity, and must admit that I prefer to "focus" on either the Event OR my quests rather than mix it all up together depending on how quick a day is to finish, if i'm still missing anything for future goals, or how long I have to wait for each part.
Does extra falcon drop from doing the adventure?
Neighbor requests are so tedious.
I'm 5 hours in and saved Stormy for last. Still waiting for Stormy (or anyone) to return the last request.
Also, try to remember to record who responds to your requests and who asks for requests, then send to those people first in the second request part of this event.
There's a Chance of falcons (and many other things that have been reported dropping) from the Adventure, but I haven't had any extra drop.
Hope they respond soon, HuckleTown! I'm at 8/10! 😂
Vs. I've accepted requests for over 30 of my neighbors for this event today. 👍
A couple of things:
1) Sone people started their chapter event later. For example I started on Saturday so I am only on day three / chapter three today. Be mindful of this because some people won't be asking for the first neighbor requests today. In the days to come don't assume they don't need them and decline them just because you have moved on to another chapter. If you are not sure ask or check the level of their oasis. Note, I am checking my game more today because I know neighbors are sending requests.
2) Higher level kingdoms/queendom you need to visit two taverns so make sure you have two out or you will be waiting eight hours between visits.
I'm feeling amazingly lucky. So far I have received 4 falcons and 3 desert tombs in total from adventures.
Hi everyone,
A couple of things:
1) A month ago, I went through my neighbour list and did some serious culling as well over half the people were inactive (in fairness, I've had some for several years). I now have a much sparser list, which of course is problematic for events like this, which ask for you to contact 15 neighbours. I've put out a few invitations and would invite anyone else who needs someone to respond, to invite me as well.
2) I have terrible luck with adventures. In events like the last one, where you have a chance to win a special gift - I never get it. In fact since these types of events started, I've only once ever got the special item. In this event, I have yet to receive anything but the cactus and I've been out over 20 times already.
Now, don't laugh, but I am wondering if there is a difference in the type of castle you have - I have the Queen's court. Those who get all these nice extras from adventures, could you tell me what type of castle you have. (I realize it shouldn't make a difference, but who knows???)
Add me for responses to requests: cascadia59 (T Town)
I'm wondering if the wheat request is for lower level players, and glimmerbulb request is for higher. I'm lvl 36 and my request was for wheat.
I played way back in the time of the valentine building that allowed crafting pink critters. I lost my game so was gone for a while. Back then I was never able to get the adventure special item. I've been back since April/May and I've gotten one item from the adventure. I tried hard for the seahorse, but on the last event, I got the reward on my second adventure. In both kingdoms I've chosen the queen's court.
I do wonder about the Baron's tent. I've gotten some nice rewards (4 mint alicorns, 3 peacocks, 1 skunkupine) this month. From reading other posts, some players weren't even getting any show up at all. I do spend a small amount of money on gems. I don't know if that matters or not, but I do wonder about some of the algorithms.
Just sent an invitation.
I also had not received any special prizes from adventures until the last event. In this event, I'm Only getting cactus (except for the items that we will all get to continue playing - oasis and falcon). I am not getting any of the extra things that people are reporting. I wonder if these people routinely get the special prize from adventures in previous events. I have a King's Keep.
I really shouldn't complain because I have really good luck with the Baron's tent. So far I have 5 mint alicorns and 3 popped up on a Sunday so I was able to complete the puzzle on the Monday morning with ordinary cabbages. Honestly, the Baron's tent is one of the best purchases I've made. It has been the source of a lot of daily alicorns and other energy-giving prizes which are pretty much essential to make progress in the game.
Just wanted to add that I really like the theme and art in this event. I've added the items to a now expanded desert plot I have that had the Desert Palace from a few years ago. Looks good.
I have King's Keeps and I am getting some of the "extra" drops. I do think the algorithms are skewed a tiny bit towards people who spend real $$ (which I do). From a business perspective, I would expect this.....people who spend $ need to be motivated to continue spending! At least in the USA, we have Loyalty rewards for most every business I can think of: airlines, gasoline companies, hotels, grocery stores, other retailers. Soda pop companies run contests with tokens inside bottle caps. And here, gems are intermittently on sale.....or offer event related bonuses. I like the business model that allows one to play for free to see if you enjoy the game, then can spend $ if you want to maximize game return (gemming ahead, getting specialty items with gems, getting Value Packs, etc)
