G'day O wicked one. Yeah,I just got the 20 . What with work and all,I can't babysit the game. And getting two or three from the five boxes, with a six hour timer, even on weekends,I just lose interest. I'll just plod along for something to do. I'm just disappointed I had to get rid of my AMAZING hydra for the sake of this event. Yeah, yeah,I know the bear cub stack is cute, but I'd rather shell out 400 gems for an expansion dropping hydra than those bears. Nudge nudge, wink wink. Anyone out there listening? I know SW is,but she sees everything.lol.
*snip*
Interestingly, "lanolin" is an oil derived from sheep's wool and is used in a number of products including food items like breakfast cereals and chewing gum. It is also used in a lot of cosmetics and some household goods. Beeswax is used in some candy products like gummy bears and jelly beans. So it wouldn't be too far of a stretch to have a candy with wool and beeswax! You'd want other ingredients in there, too, though haha
Thanks for all of the encouragement, folks. I will persist!
lol Yes I do! I should add a note in the Misty M thread, but I have asked for the hydra to somehow to be added to our game - even if it was a decoration piece. How good would that look in a mermaid section of our kingdoms.... :)

and for all:
I agree with you all that the beeswax is going to take the majority of the time in this event to collect. I'm onto my last 4 hive gear and so only beeswax is outstanding now. But that's ok, as we have 9 days left.
Make sure you're collecting from cottages for Mama Bear drops already. Know it's been mentioned and I have it page 1 but it does take a few days to get them all...
Can I say all hail SW? I'd say all hail hydra, but I'd sound like a marvel movie.lol. Plus I might come across as some backwater Aussie redneck, who likes cooking, and lavishing attention on his harem. Heeheehee. I do love my faerie harem. P.s.,I know that might be off topic, but, fcol, give me a hydra s8. Pleeasseee......with icing sugar and a cherry on top.xxxxxxxx, and if you don't understand a silly Aussie dude, fcol is me pleading .... fer crying out loud.
Oh,sorry too,s8, I should've put a copyright thing and a disclaimer after I said marvel. Nothing I say about marvel is in no way connected to s8 and the lovely SW,who keeps a vigilant eye on all of us in the marvellous world of castle story. And I'm rambling.lol. Beers.yum.
I think I’m almost done...? I’ve got the last 2 hive outfits cooking, and I’ve got 40 honey pots so all that’s left is the beeswax. I thought I read on an earlier post that we need more that 40 honeypots? Now I can’t find the post. Sorry, I had to say goodbye to my cat on Saturday and haven’t been sleeping well since.
I too have the 40 honeypots and 20 gear for the last level. I'm steadily collecting beeswax to get to 35, and targeting 3 collections a day. I now have plenty of time to resume the Misty Marshland goals with only Part IV to go. Those glowing compasses won't make themselves.
I ?m at level 19, no fertilizer in my inventory, nothing dropped from cows sheep horses conservatory...... which level you guys started to see fertilizer?
If you have the Garden of Stars, all four sections drop glimmerdust sometimes. In my experience, West seems to drop it the least, and East drops it really regularly. The other two drop it enough to make them worth collecting from for it.
I don't mind that it is taking so long to collect the Beeswax. The frenetic pace has been greatly reduced and we can now work more leisurely on other things that need our attention. We just have to keep plugging while we religiously collect from the Wooden Hives.
Omg I somehow missed the hive gear requirements on leveling up 6 and above. I even put all farm houses back in storage. I’ve been leisurely strolling through the snake quest while waiting for bee wax collection. Want to say it wasn’t there before to ease my grieve but I guess you won’t let me...I would have bought the value package when it was still time
Where did all the bears go?! Eight hours of cottage collections and not a single one. Beeswax is exceeding honeypots lol. Can someone please send me their bears so I can get some honeypots?
I've officially stopped stressing. Since the beginning of the last monster hunt (a monthish ago?), I've managed to obtain 7 dailies and 5 weeklies in various ways. I haven't started the new storyline and the community events are always a bit easier so I guess I didn't realize what a boost all of that extra energy actually is! Especially in an event like this one. It really adds some breathing room.
Also, this is the type of event where advice from my fellow rulers is SO helpful. So thanks all!
After a six hour timer the drops should NOT be random
Makes it almost impossible to complete within the time frame given without not sleeping
Nt
I have built four wooden beehives. I get nothing from them. Obviously time is wasted now so won?t be able to get anywhere on this quest.
Also if I may ( I am new to the forum so ?bear? with me) f point e months now if I cook with glimmermouth my entire cache disappears and I get no products from the kitchen. Why is that?
Also can I change my id? It was supposed to be spiffomatic but came up spiifomatic. Now that was my mistake I am sure lol
I've ****ed off 4 mama bears and each one only gave me ONE measly honeypot?! But I see fellow rulers here mentioning they get 2-3 per collection! :(
Day 3 just collected from my wood beehive first time today
And
I now have 2 whole beeswax, same as I?ve had since day one
No way will I ever get 20
I really liked this one UNTIL the 6 hour wait on the wooden beehives without guaranteed drop! S8 PLEASE waiting 6 hours slows us down plenty and there are so many other requirements that this is the biggest energy draw I have ever experienced in a game. I think everyone would agree if it was guaranteed drop at the end of 6 hours that would significantly boost the number of players willing to stick it out and use so much energy. Thanks for listening.
Will trade beeswax for honeypots! Bwahahaha....my drop rate has been above average for beeswax but those darn mama bears are still avoiding my kingdom and only giving up a single honeypot for each rare appearance. :)
Maebee seemed to have drop a skunkupie for me. I was so surprised I thought I saw wrong until I read SW's post. :)
Maybee is super cute with her wings, big fluttering eyes and a bee-autiful outfit. 22 hour timer
ONE!! One beeswax! It almost makes me happy about my previous collection which gave me two! The six hour timer is the worst. Unless you are an insomniac, you will only get 3 collections a day. With one or two each time - this is going to take 568325 days!! (Maths isn't my strong suit!). Grrrrrrrr I am bored and frustrated with this event.
Do not mass collect. Tap one then tap something else. Have a monster on your board.. go hit it on head between beehive collections.. I have determined that one or two will not give u a beeswax. Tried storing them and then placing them back. The same one still is stubborn and will not give beeswax.. so S8 that proves you are not random
I have no scientific stats but I used this method before bed and again this morning, taking at least 30 minutes to collect all five and I had a great success rate. Also, with all drop rates they seem to ebb and flow. My first three days were VERY slow going with very few drops. Yesterday and so far today my drops appear to be on the rise. Boring maybe but I'm okay with that, I will finish this quest. However, it DRAINED my stock pile of energy. I leave my game happy this morning to face week six, day four of distant learning / support for the second grade teachers at my school. Teaching kids to read from afar is challenging.
PS Here is to hoping you finish.
I don't get how some people already completed this event like, how!? give me them tips 'cus I'm not anywhere near done lol.
Here's the ultimate tip on how to finish events early: Spend money! 😉
Of course, having stored-up energy also helps tremendously. It's why I'm finished with all the event materials, and am only waiting to collect my last 5 beeswax so I can finish. But I would guess that those who've finished a while ago already probably spent some gems to skip ahead.
And just to be clear: Nothing wrong with doing that if one is so inclined! On the contrary, I've often been very grateful to those who've been willing to spend gems to advance more quickly, and share later goals with us here on the forum so we knew what was coming.
