You are obviously up to speed with the technology, so please get up to date with what people generally consider "smart". Unnecessarily criticising others is not kind, nor is it smart.

Also, have you either unlocked another appliance slot, or stored one (without food on it)? The materials you've been receiving as gifts will only show in the cardboard box of an easy appliance, not under "My Gifts". I'm not sure why there is now that message about them going into inventory - I think that only happens in Farm Story.
