I think that's an excellent drop ratio, especially if you get the Vines you need too. The Aspens give 1 or 2 (6 chops).

Yes, that's normal. The drops are random, and half of the time I get nothing too. Just keep fighting them, it's definitely worth it for a (fun looking) energy dropper!

You can check your amount of Gabbages in the Trade Wagon. There is a new Snowball trade and your Gabbages show up as the 'ingredient' for the Snowball.
