  1. So many thanks Spiritwind,, LW is a must have for the Kingdom. 1 LW takes 32.5 energy just for 1.
I agree w having 3 great nbrs to gift but,,, well a gift is a gift.
To me it seemed Cherry Hive dust changed the drop from trees drastically, ,, we'll see how it goes.
Thank you for your kindness and help,, always, Piper

Yes, Anthia certainly is a little unusual! lol I've passed feedback on to S8 with a request to give her a slight makeover. Keep an eye out for resolution/update.
Good luck with your Goddess Tree - it's worth the wait no matter how long it takes. Also make sure you are collecting from the other sources where LW drops from. This info is the Inventory Guide under "L".

    cheers! SW

    3. Do you have a gifting buddy or 3? If you don't, then it's a fantastic idea to have some regular/daily friends you can exchange LW with. They soon add up. Another (albiet also contraversial) game play strategy I have is that I don't let a resource go below 20 (if at all possible). I don't know why, but when I need a resource I seem to get it more easily (as a drop) if I already have a few of them. Again, no idea why this works, but for me it does.

The LW tree is becoming a MUST HAVE item. I have 4. However, when I went through the Goddess Tree I only had 1 and it still took me many many weeks to accumulate all the LW that was needed. If you're saving for something else for a good reason, keep going, otherwise, get a tree when you can. They are an excellent investment and as the story continues, LW is needed more and more.

If an item has a 20% chance of drops, then that chance is applied to each time you click on that item. I think that is why some players just have more luck than others. From my own personal perspective, living wood from trees is at best really low. It just cannot be your source. You have a much higher chance of LW from the sawmill. Even gold nuggets are a good example; I'm drowning in them and never try for them but they are always close to be being maxed. Other players at my level have none. I can't explain the difference, only that I spend an extraordinary amount of time in the game and always have. I am very specific about what I have on my board.

***Essay alert!*** didn't mean it to be, but you know how I like to share! It tells me it's too long... this might take me a bit to get it all to you.

Living wood outside events has the same drop rate. There has been much (debated) discussion about drop rates, but on several occasions, S8 have confirmed that drop rates are not lowered, they may be improved, but not lowered. The reason why that is controversial is because of the 'maths formula' used on drop rates.
