Portal is a guaranteed hourly spawn and the Oxa are random spawn(rare) every 4 hours. But I guess every little bit helps.
I keep hoping for multiple drops of ore, but I guess S8 is firm on that.

Teika, I just read your post above. My suggestion (which is just my opinion) is to not use gems to speed up the Portal. You'll have multiple chances to collect from there while waiting for Oxa.

That's why I'm setting timer in 1 hour increments to collect from Portal.

Same here. So far for me it's just been a 2 hour waiting game. Now a 30 minute wait on crafting one beam.
Btw. I have 2 blooms.
And actually it was more like a 4 -6 hour waiting game for one beam.
