I think there isn't one item i dislike, everything is so cute and designed beautifully thank you s8 :) I just wish the ovens weren't such a hassle to construct

This could be cute and, for ONCE on time seasonally.

With recent random goal schedules, the first day is sort of a wash gift wise but does get you started and requests sent off.

Now you can get your place straightened up for possible changes etc. As you tip your neighbors, pay attention and take note of whose tables are full, food spoiled, anything. Avoid requesting from them!

I don't even bother cooking until at least day 2 and don't have to fiddle with slow-to-build ovens with agonizing 1 hour cook times.

Also by not rushing in, you can watch the forums and get a better idea of what's ahead and possibly avoid some mistakes.

I haven't even be***, am afraid to find out how many parts will be required!!!!

I found myself having a problem. I got financially depleted after doing goals non stop because I spent several hundred of thousands of coins for each series of goals, purchasing only the bare minimum. I managed to complete those past goals but I just havent have enough time to earn back the coins I spent despite daily playing. I had over 2 millions of coins and now I have less than 200,000 coins. I hope Storm8 will give us more profitable recipes for us to earn back the coins spent on goals. Or maybe I need to pick which goals to do instead of doing them all?

Sorry to hear that Nettie. It can happen to any of us. I have a few neighbours who dont send any gift but just send me requests every day (I still have room for more gifts). The best thing is to try to find the neighbours who play the same style as you do or dont let those who dont bother you. I still gift all neighbours despite not getting gifts back and I'm fine with that. Hope you'll find some good neighbours who will send you gifts. :)

To me the only thing missing is lifesavers to hang on wall.

My solution was going back into the regular ovens and just pumping out
those recipes that were low cost, high yield and definitely profitable.
I went from under $3 mil back up to double digits.

1-2-3 hour cooktimes are a plague. (and the last BS goal had unbelievable 1-2-3 hrs on first oven & 1-3-4 hrs on 2nd oven. Insulting.)

And don't EVEN get me started on the sorry yields for those short cooktimes (making the perfect storm for horrible ovens)

Agree with both of you. Tired of so many recipes that cook in 1-4 hours; of goals that expire in 2 weeks; of expensive appliances with low yields. Think this is a good time to take a break.

The closeup pictured above here is very fuzzy, especially when you look at nearby items. I don't think that can be attributed to the nature of flowing water. Too bad though, it could have been a nice item. Sigh...

S8 had a large employee layoff.
I think the quick goals with appliances that need 38 parts is their way of encouraging (forcing) us to spend gems ($$$) :mad: in the games so they don't go broke. All S8 games are getting difficult instead of fun now. :(

I like the goal and the decorations, even though they are a little bit too cute-sy. I also like the 2nd oven's recipes. The nitrogen ice cream is interesting and I've never heard of pineapple cotton candy so that's cool. The churros look bizarre, but hey, whatever. lol I also like the longer cook times on the 2nd stove. It's a relief not to constantly be running back and forth to the game when you have real life obligations.

But, the servings per recipe: 5 hrs - 500 servings and 7 hrs - 600 servings. Wow. Just WOW.....*smh*

The nitrogen ice cream is interesting and I've never heard of pineapple cotton candy so that's cool. The churros look bizarre, but hey, whatever. lol I also like the longer cook times on the 2nd stove. It's a relief not to constantly be running back and forth to the game when you have real life obligations.

But, the servings per recipe: 5 hrs - 500 servings and 7 hrs - 600 servings. Wow. Just WOW.....*smh*

Agreed on decor--they're not as bad as the ball pit or tunnels thing, but they're still on the wrong side of the only for children/fun for all ages line. Not anywhere near as good as the indoor flow from the cruise box! I do like the extra depth of the decor though.

Glad to hear the 2nd appliance has some longer times! It will be a relief, when I finally make it that far. Everyone is so fast!

Not sure why I'm still around for this. Recipes are pretty ugly, most decor is indeed for children only, longer cook times don't yield more servings, parts take forever to collect. Definitely not an enjoyable goal set.

I am not enjoying both RS and BS anymore. Although, the goal decor quality has improved tremendously, as compared to last year, the ridiculous amount of parts required to build an oven takes all the fun out of the games. Can we please go back to 8 and 8 Or 8 and 4 and 4 part appliances?

Yes, I was hoping for something like the indoor flow too! Something that is bigger, for all ages and not so much kindergarten type stuff. Plus, even though the final prize is cute, it looks they're all piled up in a jacuzzi, not a wave pool. lol But, again I agree with you, the decor lately does have more detail and depth than last year . I would really like to see more adult type decorations, but S8 seems to love kiddy stuff even though it's mostly grown folks playing this game. Sadly, a lot of the kiddy decor does not even get put out in my restaurant, although this is decent so I'll probably do something with it. I did like the lockers and I immediately thought of high school. If they did a High School theme, that would be awesome!

I haven't gotten to the 2nd appliance yet. I'm still on the 2nd recipe for the 1st oven ! But, I saw the recipes from 2nd stove from what pcabral posted :)

I really enjoyed this goal. The stuff may be a little on the kiddie side, but I like it and the colors. The floaty kid is a little to kiddie even for me, though. All the items go really well with existing decor items if people want to use gems. I'm glad to have something summery. ��

Especially love the tables and chairs. So bright and fun. :)

I like that everything isn't on blue plates - amen! And the counters were available when it came time to serve the food - YAY!

Everything went together well, which is more than I can say for the last BS goal.

Made two goal charts but I don't recall how to make the images full size.

Additionally, I had no idea I would make these charts and paid no attention while I progressed through the tasks, so there are no figures for XP from purchasing decor items or the appliances.

I really liked this goal. I love the food on the Special Treat Machine, especially. Although pineapple cotton candy is something that I will have to try one day.. could be tangy and sweet? hmmm And the hours to cook them, even better! Except for the Bite Sized Oven.. I do know most of the second appliances in goals usually have longer cooking hours, but it'll be nice if they could extend the cooking hours for the first appliance as well..but oh well..I guess I'll just have to keep hoping.

and I would like to believe that someone submitted my suggestion to include "tipping to community members" and unlocking the next recipe in the same goal step because.. FINALLY! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
