It's possible the graphics may not have loaded properly. Please try closing your game, clearing your cache, and reopening your game. This should cause the graphics to reload and hopefully render properly :)

But really I never heard of Ube Pie myself. We usually use Ube flavor to make desserts like; cake, ice cream, candy, jam and many more.

I think I like the update items better than the actual goal prizes so I'm very happy about that. Having said that, I'm still going to complete the goals and I am grateful for the new content... But, I do agree that we've been having so many "grass" themed goal prizes lately... I'm kind of tired of them. I hope the next goal will consist of some good old-school bakery themed items.

Even though we get one free, I agree that's allot parts :( I was lucky had all of old parts and was able to build 3 on my own but if someone has none of old parts stocked up, they can maybe build one max a day :(

These parts are outrageous amount have enough oven elements but the rest just some. Storm 8 is making it a lot harder to build the appliances that's not good.

There is no way newbies can do these goals. They don't have that many coins and they'll never round up all the parts. Even if they have good neighbors who send what they need, which you know they don't, it'll take two days. Without good neighbors, who knows how long.

The newbies will quit trying.

I think these goals are aimed at long-term players who stock up on parts and gems.

Because they want players to have to use gems to do the goals. I personally will never pay real money to finish a goal. I spend plenty of gems on decor and boxes. I will quit the game altogether before i spend gems on goals.

I'm disappointed in the number of parts required as well, but am very glad to see at least one of them is a part I have in stock. It's a step forward from last time.

Also a fan of unlocked decor--if you're going to make the goals difficult, at least the players who can't complete them can buy some of it!

Waaaaay too many parts!:eek: I literally can't believe it, considering many of us have asked that you stop the trend of having so many parts per oven. It's not an exaggeration that it can take a day to build one stove, even with good neighbors. I will buy gems from time to time for worthwhile decor items. But, I will never pay gems to finish a goal.
So sad for the newer players. If you alienate them, how will the game survive and how will you make more money as a company, S8?

On a positive note: I really love the cheesecake flavors! I've been wanting cheesecake recipes for a long time, as I never got to get the old cheesecake stove ( Bakesgiving oven or something like that). And love the Ube pie. It's interesting and I like that it's a culturally diverse recipe. Not the same ole, same ole.
Oh, and I'm so excited to see a dark brown girl as the food scientist!!!:D There are not many dark brown female characters in this game ( I believe only one. The dark brown/chocolate female with the curly fro.)

That's what I think too.

36 parts for an oven is too much - even 22 for the first one's a lot.
While this is better than buying gem items to complete a goal (noting last year's - or is it 2015's - pie goal), it IS a worrying trend.
The max number required for a part is 12 so assuming S8 will not go beyond 4 parts per oven, we could potentially be looking at max 48 parts per oven going forward. And it could be 4 new parts... so that even older players may need to use gems to finish a goal.

The 14-day time bar also concerns me a bit.
I could understand this if it's immediately followed by another goal, but that's not the case in the past few shorter goals. It appears that the shorter timeframe could be a means to give pressure to players to use gems to finish the goals.

Depends on how much the goal wants us to cook, so far it's 15, so I build only 5 ovens...do three rounds and move on to next goal. I don't build a lot of ovens anymore...too many parts needed and I'm not in a hurry to get done in just few days. I usually complete goals by the following Monday after goal release with only 5 ovens going.

I AGREE. Especially with the cheesecake chiller needing 36 parts!
We can only get 20 gifts and 20 requests filled. The 36 gifts/requests would have to be perfect just to build one a day!

Also getting tired of ovens/stoves that only cook a fewer servings for 1-4 hrs max.
When goals lasted 30 days, the food took longer to cook but we got a LOT of servings.

It doesn't help to extend the goal time if you're going to double the appliances/parts (or more. ..I haven't done the math).

Using gems to complete goals takes the challenge out of it. ...I'd rather spend them on 'stuff''and expansions. Sure, I can buy gems, but if I was going to spend money on a game I'd spend it to have the ability to sort my inventory and not have pop ups.

I accept every random part people send unless I have a bunch. They come in very handy eventually! But I've noticed that when I send oddball parts, like the freezer shelf, I get a lot of knobs returned. So some people don't want them. Different styles!

I'm level 99 and would normally finish a goal within a week. I usually build only 3 of each oven just to save coins; the materials are never an issue. However, this time I've decided to only build 2 of each oven to see how long it takes me to finish the goal... As I am in no hurry and in no need of gems. I'm barely on the 2nd recipe of the first appliance lol but I'm trying to see if it's doable. Also, I've already let my recipes expire 6 times as I am not a robot...

I do think that it will be impossible for *new players to complete due to the cost... The tables and chairs alone are way overpriced for goals. They're usually around $12k and now it's double. I would say that if low level players resist the urge to build more than 2 ovens and start requesting materials for the 2nd oven ahead of time on neighbors' walls, then they may have a chance (assuming they have the coins) to complete the goal in time. It's also a good idea to gift neighbors the parts you need in batches, as a lot of neighbors gift back what they receive...
So what I do is gift 10 neighbors the cheesecloth, 10 neighbors the freezer shelf, and 10 neighbors the glass and I'll usually get a pretty good, even return of materials. The key here is having great neighbors (I only keep 50 at a time). By the time you reach the goal to build the 2nd oven, you'll have a pretty good start.

I absolutely love the food scientist! So glad they listened to our pleas for diversity. The decor items are very nice and the recipes look great. Annoyed at the number of part, building will take forever.

Haven't started this goal, and I'm pretty sure I'm not going to do it. It's too expensive, and the appliances require too many parts. Buying one more of each appliance puts you in the red. I have mastered recipes before with just one appliance, but it's really boring. The stuff you have to buy for the goal is stuff that I would never display in my bakery. I'm not fond of pink. What can I say?

I do like the food scientist and other floor items not tied to the goal. I don't like the goal prize, but I do like the blue and white chairs IN the goal prize. I wish those were the chairs we had to buy as part of the goal. Maybe in a future update they'll offer those chairs.

I have asked the Rainbow (need 9) to over 80 neighbors about 16hrs ago. Received 8 then waiting for the last one for 12hrs now. In the meantime, most of my neighbors have sent me requests or gifts which means they have opened their game. Incidentally, only ONE has sent a request for rainbow.

Am I the victim of some bug in the game? anybody else having this issue?

Force stop your game, then reopen. Sometimes answered requests take longer to register than they should.

Alternatively, if you asked for 80+ pink paints or other parts recently, that may be interfering with your current request.

Thanks for the tip, I tried it but nothing happened. I also uninstalled and reinstalled but nothing. The goal unlocked at reset this morning so I waited 24hrs for 1 part..... thanks Storm8!

Similiar thing happened to me when I requested items for the cheesecake chiller appliance. I asked all my neighbors for the freezer shelf and frozen glass (half and half) and only got 4 back!. I think the others are jammed up somewhere lol.

This goal is quite a challenge. Chalenging in terms of collecting as much needed parts to build ovens but not exciting enough. Too much parts required for oven with only 3 recipes and short cooking time. I like the look of all the recipes on both the Pie Oven and Cheesecake Chiller but I hope they could have been serve into the regular cake stand as I would like all my food in uniform. The cheesecakes especially, the looks of them is busy enough and they would stand out more into just a plain cake stand. Overall, this goal is okay other than nothing. But am still looking forward for a summer update.

The only way to work around this is sending your new req's at reset, you'll get those instead of one's still in queue. But since players all across the world have game reset times at odd hours this is sometimes difficult. So if you know obviously you're not going to send next day's req's at let's say 3am reset, only send out 20 req's rather than 80. Otherwise when you do log back into game let's say at 11am, some neighbors will have sent back some req's that are still in queue rather than new ones you still haven't sent out for the day.

I've only gotten 1 out of 9 rainbows, even though I requested one from all of my neighbors today and I'm starting to fear that I won't be able to complete the last step or two of the goal in time! Thanks for answering my question before I even asked it! :)

The only way to work around this is sending your new req's at reset, you'll get those instead of one's still in queue. But since players all across the world have game reset times at odd hours this is sometimes difficult. So if you know obviously you're not going to send next day's req's at let's say 3am reset, only send out 20 req's rather than 80. Otherwise when you do log back into game let's say at 11am, some neighbors will have sent back some req's that are still in queue rather than new ones you still haven't sent out for the day.

All requests can stay in queue on game servers up to five days.

Is it just me or does the cheesecake display scale look a little off in proportion to the other display cases? Everything seems very small.

As always, goal duration is too short for the number of parts required. And bake times are too short for outside of weekends and the evenings I manage to stay awake.

Couldn't really decide on prizes. Love the prep counter & the scientist, the rest of it was fine but not thrilling.

yeah, I agree.
1 hour, 2 hours recipes are kinda hard when you don't have a lot of available time to play.

I'd prefer 6-8 hours recipes. :rolleyes:

Feedback:

I've been wanting more cheesecake recipes in Bakery for a long time, so the theme of this goal significantly affected my poll votes. I loved the recipes and prizes (except the 70-gem price tag on the final prize), and generally liked this goal overall.

That said, the short cook times, expensive prices, high number of parts, and 15-day duration are ALL still issues that I hope to see addressed moving forward.

I liked this goal for the most part. The goal time and bake time were fine with me. I liked the deco although it was expensive, I ended up buying different tile bc the goal tiles were too much. The parts required for each appliance was way too high. Other than the prices and number of required parts I enjoyed this goal

The ovens are way too much of a hassle to build, and the recipes within have such short cook times. Also all the decorations are way too expensive. I didn't like how there wasn't one connecting theme to all the items

Sorry guys I will no longer post goal pictures. Adding multiple attachments is more work, photo sharing site I was using was easier but it's no longer free ($399 now).

Goal feedback: I really enjoyed the goal and loved the ovens, wallpaper, tiles, decor, prizes, goal time. MY ONLY COMPLAINT is the number of parts needed to make the ovens. Way too many. Thank you for the goal/update, though. :) Would rather have it that way, than nothing at all.

I liked the goal but as usual the time to complete was too short, it feels like I'm rushing to do them and pressured instead of actually enjoying the goals.

30 days is a good time slot to do these chain goals.

It's not even close to enough time for newbies. Way too many parts required and everything costs too much for them.

I love the wallpaper and scientist and like the rest of it. Those tables are great, but I didn't like them with the paper and tile.

I love that some of the food sits right on the counter instead of up on a platter, but dislike the blue plates. Those blue plates throw off any decor that isn't set up for blue.
