As a long term player sat on level 60 I'm getting tired of all the repeated cruise ideas, even though they have different recipes at the end of them. I think it would be fun if conventions/conferences started visiting the town. After all, the possibilities are endless: a clown or circus convention could reward you with custard pies, an animal/zoo lovers conference could have pigs in blankets or toad in a hole, and geologists could be rock cakes or grits! I'm sure we could think of a lot more! :rolleyes::D

I have been playing this game for a couple years now and have always enjoyed it but I have to say that lately (last several months) I have been very disappointed. There hasn't been anything new and it has just been cruise after cruise with very minimal being changed. What happened to the other non cruise events? They were fun and cute. There hasn't been new levels in forever. I would love to see something new soon.

Hope we will be getting back to having other events along side the cruises. I liked having them in between the cruises and getting new recipes please get back to that thank you.

I thought I would write this here too, I really like cruises and all but isn't it too soon since the last cruise I liked how you would do events in the past you would have the cruise the beginning of the month then after the cruise would be an event for a recipe.

When I first started rs2 years ago cruises were occasional things ..the other goals were just special appliance goals like the cowboy bbq event or the Japanese grill

But now all events are either lani's ridiculous goals or cruises because of the gold stamps...

cant we go back to the normal events occasionally?

How can one stay motivated when it's the same over and over, most times with previous rewards, and nothing new?

Totally agree! In my opinion, this game is a lot better than the original and it seems that Restaurant Story 1 is getting updates, but we just get reused content. Not really sure what they were thinking to support a *8 year old game* over Restaurant Story 2 which is only 3 years old. Hopefully this is just temporary and we get new content. The Lunar New Year Cruise and Lucky Leprechaun introduced new decor and a new format, but then the two latest ones went back to all reused content. I really miss those quests we got in 2015 and 2016. Don't get me wrong, I still like cruises, but if we keep getting the same EXACT thing, but with different (reused) decor every week it gets old. Why can't we just get the normal quests in addition to cruises? I mean it worked in 2016 and 2015 and people liked it. Not sure why they got rid of those limited quests in exchange to Lani's Goals (which i rarely participate in).

I do all the events but I too am skipping this one. I love my restaurant but this is very repetitive and these quests are always overlapping one another. I left castle story because there were too many quests and a lot of repetitive ones. I do not want to leave RS2 also. :(. Please give us something new and different to do.

I miss the 7 day challenges. Wish they can bring that back. I loved it! Always something new and fun ingredients and collecting from special guests.

Me too... we have been getting limited ingredients and recipes with the newest cruises, but it’s not the same to be honest. I remember the fun of unlocking new recipes (like the yancy Goals). And the NEW decorations. Now all we get it reused stuff with a mixture of a new item here and there. No new core updates like the food truck or new appliance, etc, in the last year. And all these cruises have been using the celebration and jubilee appliances for the last 3 years, it’s just annoying.

Is this the end of Restaurant Story 2? We haven’t seen any all new cruise themes or any other events in more than a year. I really hope that this isn’t the end... I’ve been playing this game for almost 4 years, since before it was even released for everyone. This game is one of my all time favorite games and also probably my most played Storm8 game. Can we get a response from storm8? Are there any plans to update this game and is this period without new content just temporary?

We have only gotten 2 new events with new content in the last year, the two expos. The rest of the cruises were just content from old quests used in a cruise. Yes, in the lucky leprechaun cruise we got a few new decorations, but I believe that’s it. In the lunar new year cruise we got new recipe designs, but since then it looks like the recipe designs just been recycled from old events. And yes we get new characters and recipes sometimes, but again, most of the time they are recycled from old events. I just feel that they aren’t putting as much effort in this game as 2 years ago and in other games. I mean how long can we go with reusing old content before most people quit?

Im just saying that we should unite as a community, and tell Storm8 that we still love this game and ask them to give us new content. We don’t want to wait untill it is too late.....

We just now seem to get cruises (which are recycled content for the most part) but can we at least once in awhile get relisted old limited time goals? It would give newer players a chance to get old recipes, ovens, etc and give older players a break between cruises.

We just got the 36th Lani's Goals and while they are good for getting stamps they are starting to get boring. Every two weeks for the last year or so we have been getting these Lani's Goals. They can change up the recipes or whatever but it's still the same. We need new and creative ways to earn stamps and maybe some decorations too! Can we at least maybe get some new permanent game recipes, a new permanent ingredient and/or a new appliance? An update or something? Yes, we've had the Free Gems thing and a few alterations in some of the cruises but besides that this game has been getting boring recently with basically nothing but recycled cruises and the same old Lani's Goals!

+1 to that... I only "figured out" how to play this game after not being able to complete more than some cruises and i would be sooooo happy to be able to get those old recipes/appliances.... :/ like ghostly oven i missed, the mothers day/flower stand event i barely participated.... but i do think this game is dead, they dont even respond support anymore, its just recycled cruises/content + new recipes that most of the times have the same icons.. this is what bothers me the most... also there is no community anymore, its just a handful of die hard players including myself.... i dont even know the reason i dont quit it, guess i dont have anything better to play on my phone.

Could we PLEASE get a Real update! This game is awesome and I love it so much, but it needs new things to make it fun for the people who has been here since the beginning! Being able to go past level 60 and also being able to expand my restaurant would be awesome! I have so many appliances like the Japanese food carts in the taco truck sitting in storage because of not having room. I could smash everything in there, but I like my restaurant looking clean and nice! Thank you!

It seems like this game isn?t forgotten by storm8. They haven?t done an upgrade in almost over 3 years. They just recycle the same things over and over. The prizes are sometimes new but the concept is always the same. The game has just become to repetitive. Storm8 needs to come up with something to keep people motivated for playing. After level 60, there isn?t much to work for. I have so many gems from cooking recipes and nothing to spend on.

I agree! Nothing is new, like the devs can't be bothered. I used to love this game. Need to find a new one I guess...

I just finished mastering the only recipe for the festival oven. 600 times I made this recipe that takes 24 hours each with the expectation that once mastered I would get additional recipes. Nope. Nothing. The oven cost 1600 and yields one gem most of the time. What a waste of time. I would think they could do better with this much dedication from so many players.

It feels like years since we've gotten an update. I've been at level 60 for several years and have over 100 million coins. The hot dog stand has been saying something new is coming soon for years and I think the fishing boat is a little more recent, but has been saying the same thing for a while. I loved this game but there isn't much to work for now. Cruises are cool, but too often the reward is a recipe that needs turbinado sugar which is always running out. Can we please please get updates? If not can you please tell us storm8 is no longer updating?
