Hey Everyone,

We have created this thread for you to speculate on future updates, including goals, crates, regular updates, and sales. Here is a space for us to visit and discuss as we wait for new things or we can discuss these updates before the update threads are started. :)

The update schedule may be irregular for the time being, but the game will continue to receive updates, and new items can arrive in-game any day of the week from Monday through Friday. Thank you for your understanding.

At the least since the updates are every now and then with BS & RS and Never with FS, we should have at the least half to 60% off on all expansions.
I have seen where other people have the same request so for heaven's sake Storm 8 Inc. can't you at least make this happen!?!?

My always-, or possibly never-, accurate guesses:

We will get an update this week.
It will be 2 week goals plus a coordinating box.
The food on one appliance will be chilled, like the pops as suggested above, or other frozen treats.
The appliances will require cooling coils and balloon grates.
The decor will mostly not be pink.
Pride will get a shout-out, but will not be the main theme.

Now to wait and see if I am even a little bit right!

Really s8? We've been getting barely any updates over here, why don't you just substitute them with old goals and sales if you don't have as many resources? Your customers are going to turn away quickly if they aren't given fresh content, I can see it happening a lot already, a lot of my neighbors leaving, and it will only get worse

Is this a re-release? Oh well, it's new to me lol. And I love that the recipes on the first oven are from countries we dont have a lot of recipes from. Baklawa is Lebanese and Berliners are German. The first one is Italian but we have a decent amount of Italian desserts already but always nice to get a new one.

I think it will be a summer activity theme, but not beachy. Like camping, or a sport.
I think one of the ovens will make a decorated cookie or cupcake to match the theme.
We'll get a standalone hazel in activity appropriate wear.
Parts used will include crosspipe.

I'm just curious, while it was a recycled goal from RS we did have goals that just ended on the first so what do you mean there's been no goals in 2 weeks. There's about 3 weeks between the start of new goals. Two weeks for the goal itself and about a week between the end of one and the start of another

Last fall Storm8 re-opened for us old Halloween goal. It would be great if we could continue getting past goals and past decor items as part of future updates. I am looking forward to getting either entire "Eiffel Flowers" goal from 2014 or at least some of the decor items from that goal.

So I quit playing for a few months due to just being bored. I saw somewhere someone saying that they are bored of not getting weekly updates. Did they take away the weekly updates and are just doing monthly goals? I have noticed that a lot of my neighbors that I've had for years are no longer playing anymore. I was just wondering if that's why?

Earlier the developers used to release a new goal once in a month or so, if I remember correctly but lately we get new goals every 2-3 weeks. I think its a great idea and I enjoy the new goal ovens, recipes and prizes very much! But I'd also like to get the locked goals so much! I started playing Bakery Story in late 2014 so I missed out a couple of goals & when I look at those locked items I think it would be great to have them! So please do a re release of past goals even for a short time! ����

I hope they release a new Halloween goal and I also hope that they re-release either the 2014 or 2015 Halloween goal this time as a side goal this year just like they re-released the 2013 one last year. I think that's fair since some of us older players missed out on some of the previous (newer) goals for x reasons... And we would like a chance to unlock those items as well. For some reason, a lot of people only want old content (2012) to be re-released but I think they should alternate between old content and newer content so that everyone gets a chance to unlock something they've missed for whatever reason.

If we do get a sale please don't just put out the same stuff out. Add some items that haven't been on sale before please. Just about every sale we have is a rehash of past sales. So there's nothing for the older players. I usually end up just getting a few extra tables and chairs. That's if the tables and chairs match of course lol. They don't always. Some first and second place box prizes would be nice. You could also import some displays over from RS. I don't play RS so don't know what any of the Halloween displays are like. I bet there's some awesome ones though.

But as the goal "I Vant to..." showed, the developers could catch interest even of all those players who have already gotten the appliance in 2012 by adding some new recipes + free goal prize. I think it was a great idea and scheme that worked! May be goal time could be more longer next time.

That's a great idea! It would be great also to be able to buy the locked items (ovens, decorations) that are sitting at the end of all our "Design" tabs. Frustrating never to be able to get these but they just sit there forever

Does anyone know exactly when the update schedule is? Once upon a time it was ALWAYS Wednesdays at 1:30 Central time...now I can't keep track. Is it just random now?

Not precisely random, it seems to be that when one goal set expires, a new one comes shortly after, which is why I was guessing today, maybe tomorrow for the next goal (a 5-day, if we're alternating). But it's just a pattern, not an official statement by s8 on goal timing, so it could change at any time.

I thought, we'll at least get 2 goals for Christmas because the decorations I have is not near so pretty as it was in the past years. Even the short goal where we got snowball fight, it's more Winter like as Christmasy. I'm happy the crates are back, though I miss gingerbread crate. Would appreciate very much if there would be another Christmas goal as we had 2 for Halloween and fall - autumn. @Jojo, I think the goal will be around the old update time for Wednesday. Around 2-3 PM EST? We shall see. :P And I think it'll be a regular goal. The pattern since 5 day goals became a "regular" thing months ago is that we get a 5 day goal to kick start the month and then there's 2 15 day goals. But since there's only 5 days left of December, it'll be interesting to see what they do.

I would like to see a theme called the a day after... like what a room or banquet hall would look like the day after a big party before clean up starts. HOWEVER, it's too late. The Valentine's goal should have started a week ago so we could make and put out Valentine's theme food and decorations. If the goal started right now it would end the 14th or 15th. Any Valentine's Day final prize would have to be stored cause Valentine's is over and it will be time to move on to the next holiday. Seems like we are one theme behind all the time.

Also please bring back any appliances with the word "Winter". And one from a while back with the word "Rose". Not Rose Gold, those were recent, I have and love them.

I don't think it's too late for a VDay goal. Not everyone takes the entire two weeks to finish and even so I leave my decor up the whole month, or most of it so it going a couple days past VDay wouldn't bother me. The next thing I'd decorate for is St Patricks Day anyway so I'd let my Valentines decorations stick around for a bit

I didn't mean I didn't want a Valentine's goal. I want any and all goals I can get. I just got up and saw new goal. I'm excited to get started.

I am retired and partially disabled so I have plenty of time on my hands. I finish goals early most of the time. But a lot of players are younger with jobs and a family to raise. Their gaming time is probably a treasured and much needed moment here and there. So maybe they are not able to finish early or at all.

And what about the new players? They are still bright eyed and bushy tailed. Every part of the game is still exciting for them. But they don't have Valentine's decorations already in storage like I do. Coins and Gems are scarce in the beginning so no buying last year's stuff in advance of a goal.

Bottom line on timing is we are a week behind with holiday related goals. My Walmart had Christmas stuff on the same asile as Back to School in August. That's RIDICULOUS! All I'm asking for is a week earlier than goals start now.

STORM8 that's my thoughts on goals. That said I love this game and hope it never ends. I do think there's a lot more involved in what y'all do than we can even imagine. I appreciate all of you and thanks for the Valentine's goal!

but only gods and devs can tell for sure, lol )))

standard goal in bakery will expire ~ march 22, maybe then we'll get smth for easter...

Noon Eastern time is really early, they haven't been released that early in a long time. We probably won't be getting a goal until tomorrow since they have been releasing them on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

I was at a point where I was going to stop playing because it was stressing me out more than real life! I know a lot of players have multiple bakeries with hundreds of neighbors & they tip & leave a comment daily. I just can't do that, I don't have an extra hour or 2... maybe it's because I play on my phone & every comment takes a minute to load... I don't know but I lost a lot of neighbors over it. I tip my hat to those who do that because it's a whole lot of work.

Thankfully, a moderator showed me the other forum where people are looking for neighbors like me! It honestly saved me from leaving & I'm enjoying the game again. I don't care about tipping. I try to keep my rate up, but I don't care about my neighbor's tipping me, even if I tip them. I appreciate gifts but you send them out when you do. I actually appreciate late gifts because I don't always accept all gifts and someone who gifts later might fill that spot or I might be full... it's all good.

It's a game that should work into your life, you shouldn't build your life around the game :)

Also please don't make the goal times too short for those of us who work. I've been playing since right after the game was introduced and with the number of parts required and the intro of side goals, it's difficult to finish in time. Until this past year I've NEVER missed on a goal and am very unhappy that I couldn't finish 4 of them over the the past year by hours. Very unsatisfying.
