My results are listed below (Only Level 15 fighters are used as usual):

I also established a power index for me to select a fighter. The following represents how Power Index is calculated:
Powder index:
Strong against one element (+2); Strong against two elements (+4)
Rare (+1); Super Rare (+2); Ultra Rare (+3)
Fist time used in the tournament (+1)
Thus, the highest power index is 8 (for an Ultra rare/Level 15/first time fighter whose element is strong against both elements of the opponent). It's considered the best fighter. Fighters with a Power Index of 7 are considered a very good fighter. Fighters with a Power Index of 6 are considered a good fighter.

1. Jagwire (L/E) - Garnet Pony loss twice with Birthstone; Garnet Pony win with Birthstone (CC).
Comments - Powder index for Garnet Pony is 7 (a fighter as good as you can get). Losing two times in Round 1 just blew me off and demonstrated that this game can be frustrating even if you follow the rule as much as you can.

2. Charger (L/W) - Pedal Peacock win with Rainbow (sC) (Comments - Rainbow is strong against both Lightning and Water. The power index for Pedal Peacock is 7 (a very good fighter). Fortunately it worked well).

3. Bulldog (E/F) - Arabian Horse win with Earth (Cs) (Comments - Earth is strong against Fire. The power index for Arabian Horse is 6 (a good fighter). It proved to be so.)

4. Pastelephant (Shamrock/N) - Cerberus win with Lightning (C) (Comments - Lightning is strong against Shamrock. The power index for Cerberus is 6 (a good fighter). It certainly worked very well.)

5. Cursed Rose (D/F) - Dumbledog win with Water (Comments - Water is strong against Dark. The power index for Dumbledog is 6 (a good fighter). It certainly worked very well.)

Can someone please tell me Jagwire elements?

The first day of a tournament always starts in the middle of an S8 day (it's 2:30 pm for me in the Eastern US, so I'm guessing sometime early in the morning in Australia?) rather than at reset time, and the time shown on the icons are always rounded up. Nobody gets a full six days to work on the tournament. You might think you lost half the day when you open the game in the morning and see the timer, but I can assure you the tournament was not going on while you were sleeping. :)

Anybody remember if they got more easter baskets the higher up the rounds you go? Is it just one basket for each win all the way through to the end. One for each round, 30 in total doesn't seem much of a contribution to the current world event.

Yes use your best Water/Nature animal. Hooded Robin gave me trouble also. Good luck starship. And everyone else.

I used my level 15 Gretel on Hooded Robin. She disappointed me and lost the first time but I forgave Ms. Gretel and beat the Hooded Robin with 2 shots of water. Since then, the tournament was a breeze and I finally won my first tourney in Fantasy Forest Story. Hopefully I'll become a legend like I am in Dragon Story, lol.

Thanks for all your help. Finally after almost 20 tries defeated Wombattery with Anchentress just 2 times nature. It's strange because I used it couple times before with no luck. Hope I managed to complete this tourney. Good luck to all of us.
Finished the Mouse after 2 attempts with Thorilla used earth.

Thanks for all your help. Finally after almost 20 tries defeated Wombattery with Anchentress just 2 times nature. It's strange because I used it couple times before with no luck. Hope I managed to complete this tourney. Good luck to all of us.
Finished the Mouse after 2 attempts with Thorilla used earth.

I used to try one fighter 1-2 times and, if not successful, moved to the next fighter. Now I stick to the same fighter until I beat the opponent. See my post (#5). I like this approach better although once a while I do experienced a streak of fail for 6 times but I doubt it will be much sooner to get a critical hit than 20 tries. This is just my personal opinion.

That Four Leaf Rover was my hardest rival (so far). I finally gave up and used an ultimate attack. I figure 30 gems isn't too much for a new animal. Hope I don't have to use any more.

Yes it was tough. I was stuck on 3 for a few rounds I checked postings most worked but a few didn't for me. Las night there was 2 hours left my time,and wahoo!!!!! Won my very first tournament. If it wasn't so late at night I would have jumped up and down and yelled! My neighbors think I'm nuts as it is �� I worked and tried very hard. Now it's time to fatten more animals up for next tournament. Tyvm TL! I'm having the time of my life in my forest full of critters.

Such a pretty animal, but had no chance of being able to play for it properly over this Easter break. I do wish S8 would try to take into account busy life periods for most people.

I tried too much testing this time and didn't manage to get it. I'm not too sad though, as the name drives me crazy. LOL
