While I am always glad to see a new, permanent breedable, black/pink hybrids just got a new looong fail. Some of those many, many Athletic fails will now be these...at 23 hrs. Yikes.

I think it is only available for 7 days, here's hoping as I have one under construction at present. I got mine with Playful - Water 1st attempt.

Wow, thanks for the egg pic, guys. I was searching all around online since I had no idea what my egg was! Was randomly breeding for my bingo sheet and got super lucky, first try with Cloud and Fire! ^_^

While I think it is worth the effort to Breed ICEBREAKER, I do not think he is worth the Apple Investment in order to win 2 Battles for a Prize of a measly 2,500 Coins.* Certainly do not recommend investing Apples into ICEBREAKER unless you have already Stockpiled enough Apples for the next Dragon Tales (DT). Though, if S8's new lack of personnel inspired snails pace is any indication, it will be 2 weeks before the next DT. (Unless S8 doesn't release a World Event next week...)

ICEBREAKER, R (blue, red) 23h. Breed: ([blue, red] & TROPIC) = 3 dragons: (R: Athletic 11h, Lunar Ram 16h, ICEBREAKER 23h).

Other BP's, such as (FIRE & WATER) risk the TERRIBLE Fail of 20h, C, MAGIC & adding another Fail to compete for Rare selection: 11h, R, TROPIC.

I don't think he's temporary. The dragon is currently "on sale" so it's likely the timer is for the special price. It would make no sense to release a limited time dragon, and then put it on sale. It's likely he's been added as a "rare" punishing new black pink fail.

I could stand a bit more of a Leaderboard gap...I think I'll try this and post my miserable results. If I get it, raising it to level 7, enough for a good fight, is not a huge problem. I may have to speed up the gestation in order to get it that mature before the challenge is over. They could have at least included a Snow Cone Hedge in the challenge rewards...

Well, I tried...and tried. Breeding Athletic and Lunar Ram, I got Magic, Tropic, Lunar Ram, Lunar Ram, Magic, Magic, Athletic, Magic, Magic, Magic, Tropic, Magic, Magic, and Magic. I hate this dragon. Forgetting it.

I could not breed this guy and was getting quite frustrated. Even had the extra breeding roost going and couldn't get it on either. Then, on a whim, I tried blue first and red second (had been doing red/blue as I didn't think order mattered)...and got the Icebreaker dragon first try. So have I been screwing up this whole time and order does actually matter?!?

Same thing happened to me with Moon. After endless fails on a whim I switched the order and got it first time.

Ah, Moon, the bane of my existence! Tried for way too long to get that dragon and gave up. Though maybe I should swap the order and see if that helps...

I have this one breeding right now as we speak. Got the 23 hour timer with playful and Mercury 2nd try....(after an athletic fail)..

got 2 - 3 each of athlete and lunar ram.
got my first rainbow as fail (while trying to breed for this and completing one bingo spot).

now i got 20 hr , figure it is time for my magic fail....

Tried for Icebreaker but was going to skip trying after two Athletic fails. Had a bingo square for "Breed with Smoke" and just got a 23 hour timer with Smoke and MIthril. Too funny.

I've had 3 more fails, for 17 total, with a possibility of 5 outcomes. That makes 10 Magics, 3 Lunar Rams, 2 Tropics, and a couple of Athletics, all using boosted breeding.

As an aside, the 11 hour Butterfly that I had on the nest, trying to breed an Easter, turns into a 15 hour Wooden when I put it on the nest. I also had some gold go inexplicably missing. My faith in the stability and fairness of this game is being tested lately.

**OK, I think I know where the gold went. It was showing me 200 coins for boosted breeding but charging me 12 bars anyway. Odd how it did that, considering when a tournament ends, it keeps charging you 30 bars to Ultimate, until you reload. These things always seem to work out not-in-our-favor.

Scary stuff. I would hate to see an egg that I wanted mysteriously switch to another dragon type. Please raise this with support so they can investigate and fix it proper

I got Icebreaker on about my third try with Fire & Water but have skipped the goal to fight with him. I need stars & coins like I need holes in my head :p

About the slower pace of the game though; personally I'm relieved. I am terribly sad for the reason (layoffs) but just started a new, demanding job so am loving the decrease in game pressure. One event and one LT dragon at a time, please!

I got this one accidentally using Surprise and Lovebird dragon, lol... :D *got it first try, I never thought of breeding this dragon at all, so it was a big "surprise" when I saw and got the egg... Hahah... :D
