I bought the trap for 20 gems, chopped it and got nothing. There were no beast out on my board. Help!

We checked this out and see the trap is working as intended. Can you please try reinstalling the game before you chop the next one if you buy one? Let me know if that one doesn't work as well. As Spiritwind mentioned, make sure there's no other Monsters in your Kingdom. If you can, please provide screenshots.
