Cannot find the puppet strings achieved by battling with dragons in storage

It's normal for PVE items not to show in storage. You can see how many you have in the Craft Shop under the recipe for the Dragon. :)

Up until now they have always shown up in storage, this is definitely a new thing for them not to. Yesterday, everything disappeared from storage, all the old dragon parts.

You're correct. It doesn't show as an error for me, so it didn't appear to be a bug. The older parts are intended to be hidden from storage to answer player feedback that they didn't want old parts displayed for cleaner storage. But it applied to current ones, too. The feedback has been forwarded to development team. ^_^
