Mysterious Building Changing?

Is it just me, or is that building (don't know what to call it) that just says to "expand here to claim your reward", changing? It seems to be more gold with floating gold particles above it. Has it always been this way, or is it indeed changing? Am I just seeing things? What do you think?

I haven't really looked at it for a long time, but I don't think it has changed. But I may just not be very observant :)
