The King Float and the reappearance of the alligator float is appreciated! So much good stuff- ovens, food, tables, walls, tiles and set arounds. Always happy to get a new stove, & this update is really nice. Why do a release at the END of Mardi Gras? Tomorrow is Fat Tuesday! It's over! Are you working on using a calendar and planning releases before holiday/events happen? It's the most annoying part of this game. ☹️ Good job though.

I'm cooking the key lime pies in the easy oven's, I believe they should still count toward goal once they're served.

Why so expensive all the time? The lamp and mask are way to small. Why 15 of each cooking item? You have to put a timer to maybe make it before quest expires. Like the float but Mardi Gras is today so to late.

I may drop the last two games I have of S8. BS & RS
And I so enjoy both.

No, I don't think there was supposed to be a free one. I didn't get an impression that we were getting a free one when I completed the step. We usually don't get a free mid-goal decoration since you have to purchase them to complete the later steps. Except the last final prize, of course.

Also, I hate to be ungrateful because I do really like the goals overall, but I'm not a fan of being forced to buy green & blue stoves to complete it. I know you're slammed, so not having to design a 2nd appliance is probably saving you some time, although I miss the gems to be earned. And I don't mind having to make long-mastered food, because I like my food to match my decor anyway, so I might have been making gumbo & jambalaya regardless. I didn't mind at all in BS in the last goal, because I had all the required appliances (or would have bought them eventually in my less-well-equipped bakeries). But now I have to buy appliances just because they're a different color, even though I'm getting no new recipes out of them? Not cool.

didn't expect these goals, but thanks, s8! even though mardi gras isn't celebrated in my country, I will still do these goals so I have content related to this theme, along with a few others I bought from the market. besides, they all look great!

but why do we have to buy the colored basic appliances? I know that it's for a bit of a challenge with these goals, but for me, it seems like a waste of money. that's my only complaint for these goals, and good luck to everyone!

I would like to say YAY on being able to have the counters before the food is served. It always seems so ridiculous to me that we get the counters after serving the food. I'm SO GLAD that worked out this time!

There is no point in losing money if you don't want the appliances, recipes or decorative stuff.

I'm not thrilled about these blue and green appliances, but I want the queen. (Actually I want to be the queen, but I'll settle for the float.😉)

Yes it does!

Another good point made - as soon as the goal is done, everything gets put away because the holiday has come and gone. So I have to wait a year to enjoy the queen. (But not to enjoy being the queen, which I now am.) ;)

The goal "Okra Finale" has been amended and it only requires one King of Mardi Gras. :)

Great, after I buy it, we don't need two kings. Honest to Pete.

But I no longer lose actual money due to oddities in the game. Since I know there are oddities, I quit buying gems.

I want to buy gems. I wanted that alligator! Couldn't buy him because I don't have gems.

But I can't buy gems because of stuff like this. I lose out on the gator. The company loses out on the cash. This is literally the only company I've ever seen that runs things to lose-lose on the business end.

You need to have 2 blue stoves but the food on any of the stoves count. So I cooked the food on my old basic white stoves.

I bought and stored the blue & green stoves, cooked the stuff on the quickie-stoves and it counted. 😀
