Help. Breed legendary problem!

My goal after breeding the Crystal Unicorn is to breed Legendary with water.
The only Legendary (rainbow) I have is the Rainbow Pony, but I can't breed it.
It has never been in my breedable list, even thought it is level 15.

How do I accomplish this goal?

Rainbow elements cannot breed, to get Opal breed your Crystal Uni with water (frostfang) or two water/gem will work :) I used sapphire Sphinx and Pearl Peryton .. good luck!

But Opal is rainbow, so why am I asked to breed creatures that cannot breed themselves?

Yep, Legendary refers to gemstone type animals, not rainbow. Since you can't use rainbow type animals for breeding, the water element acts as a stand-in for the rainbow element when trying to breed for Opal.
