Below figures of profit/loss are true if you buy only required quantity of stuff. Every item on top - decreases profit and increases experience respectively.
These goals require you to have regular appliances: Drink Mixer, Ice Cream Maker ($20'000 + 10 Screw + 10 Knob + 10 Paint + 10 Gear), Treat Dispenser ($20'000 + 10 Blue Motor + 10 Nozzle). If you already have them, it will count toward the goal.

A goal doesn't mean to master something, but to complete some tasks, so when you get to ice cream maker, just serve some ice cream to complete the task, that's okay.

Don't know, but I'm glad. Goals are EXPENSIVE (gems or no gems) for newbies.

apparently no... i didn't yet make any math, but treat dispenser and ice cream maker involved don't look very good for newbies if they don't yet have them:
they wd need $80'000 to buy 4 appliances and 120 parts to build them.

(unless one of each will be given for free. i have to check it. yousually goal's completion shows the pic of smth unlocked or smth given for free...)

i also don't really understand wht wd be the prize.
both cart and display seem to be unlocked during the goals, and have to be bought.
and i don't see anything else locked in decor tab.

maybe we'll get some recipes as grand-prix?

I think I got one free Ice Cream Maker and Treat Dispenser as goal prizes, because I believe I had 9 of each already and now I have 10. So new players only have to build one of each if they don't already have them. You only need 10 and 5 of last recipes, it's doable with only 2 machines of each I think.

I actually like that they are using older appliances for the goals, because it's less work for me! lol But, I do wish that they would have put NEW recipes on the older appliances ( as I've seen other players suggest in past threads). For the newbies, I don't know if this will be too hard for them having to collect all those parts:confused: Other than that, it's an interesting goal this time around and keeps things from getting too stale.:)

These required dishes also take counter spaces, and my counters are quite full since customers don't eat as fast as I want them to be. So my only option is either throw away some food (hate wasting!) or put out new counters (screws up my bakery layout!).

Don't like the idea of putting out older recipes other than seasonal ones.
I don't want to buy more appliances to finish goal.

I'm glad this is a goal as I really like the theme except for the animals but I can make it work with my outdoor garden theme.

On the other hand, this goal looks very long at least for me. I just wish they could stop with the final prizes for gems, it used to be coins! :rolleyes:

I think this goal is interesting, and I love the final prize, I'm not an animal fan, but the deer family is lovely, the graphic is so nice and neat.
As long as I'll get 1 as final prize, I don't really mind it costs 60 gems.

Reading this quote was like reading my own mind. I hate wasting food (even though it's not real it feels so...wrong) and I hate having to change my bakery layout with new counters. LOL! and as LadyEna said, my bakery isn't big enough because it costs to much to expand, so I do what I can with the precious bit of space I do have.

By the way, I didn't get a new Ice Cream Machine either. What's up with that?:confused:

I got one for sure. I only had 2 before because I usually buy 6 then once I master all the recipes, I sell 4 of them. But I just completed the Drink Mixer step and checked my inventory. Now I have 3 Ice Cream Makers.

It's a strange glitch that Woodland Oven's cooked recipes don't have the little bubble to show that they're done cooking, nohing!

Way too easy to overlook that they need to be served!

so if you follow the goals exactly, buying the requested decor (you could buy cheaper walls & floors to save some money, or more than 2 machines to make it even more expensive) you will spend just under $514K. getting the cash prizes from the goals and selling the food they require you to make will earn you over $207K. so stopping there would mean you lost $306,355 coins.

that may seem daunting, but with any luck, at least some of those coins you're spending are coins you want to spend, because you're getting pretty decor in return! and $116K for all that decor is really not bad.

Thanks for the explanation! Wow! It doesn't make sense to me that we get goals intended to make us lose money. I guess I'll chalk it up to the cost of getting the final prize for "free." 😉

I believe drink mixer is already built kinda like white oven. Appliances for this goal that will need parts are the Woodland Oven (4 Oven Light 4 Oven Element), Ice Cream Maker (10 Screw 10 Knob 10 Paint 10 Gear), and Treat Dispenser (10 Blue Motor 10 Nozzle).

Eventual profit differs between those of us who already had Ice Cream Machine and Treat Dispenser and those of us who had to buy these appliances for this goal. For the players who didn't have these appliances already, add in the revenue provided by mastering and eventually selling the recipes made by these machines.

For those of us who DID have these appliances, addd to your profit the (questionable) value of the purchase price for one of each of them, as you earn them by doing the goal.

I already had the ice cream machine but don't have the Treat Dispenser. I held off on that one because ... chocolate soy drink? Blecch. But I guess I will have it now...

Same here... I really liked using older appliances. I had a couple of each already built (didn't get a freebie) and was able to begin the steps while building additional ovens.

Love the final prize: so pretty and very well designed!

Hard to know. But it is still early. We used to get the previews at 5p Eastern/2p Pacific. Some weeks, none at all.

Well, this is sad but it seems S8 has had a pretty big layoff recently (130 employees).

No doubt there's a lot going on at those offices this week.

That and the very dangerous rain storms that are hitting California.

Well I know I haven't purchased any gems since before Christmas in either here or rs. The quality of new items is just not their enough to make me want to part with real money. Plus the price of stuff has gotten out of hand. I also really hate these short goals, it is stressing me out and making the game a chore instead of fun. I feel bad for those who got laid off. Their managment chose to ignore the feedback they get.

Ok must rant MINI GOALS a waste of COIN and time ! I think they need to go ! Secondly PLEASE DO NOT have old ovens that most season vets have fully completed in any goal ! Yes I know I don't have to do the mini Goals , but their should be no reason for anyone to not have to do any goal ! 1 goal a month is enough ! U waste enough coin and time on the main goal as it is ! Thank u rant over !

hello everyone im pretty sure im finished with Woodland goals (havent gotten any other popups)
Will a preview to new goals be introduced to prepare parts? (I notice my neighbors are still gifting oven elements) any feedback would be appreciated

Oven elements are a safe bet--even when we get previews, and who knows if we will this week, if there's a new part required it won't be available until the update, and it's only been the last couple of times that any old parts besides elements were required. I wouldn't start betting on nozzles just yet, see if this goal with its previous appliances was a one-off or a new pattern.

PS: you can always tap the clipboard, left top of the screen under your experience/coins/gems counters to see what goals are pending, or check the steps in the 1st post of this thread to make sure you did all of them. If you're really finished, the deer final prize will be unlocked at the end of your floor decor.

Serving leafy smoothies from the treat dispenser was the last goal in this set (see post 1). If you did that, the final prize of woodland deer is available the end of your decor tab. If you didn't finish serving the smoothies, then the last goal disappeared from the clipboard because you ran out of time--these goals expired on wednesday.

There haven't been any new goals yet, for everyone, not just you. We'll get some eventually, though nobody knows when, or how often we'll get them with the new world order.
