Little Manty Quest

I've had this quest for a while now, and I've been feeding and feeding Little Manty, but he just will not grow into an adult. I found another post that said it takes 7 times, but I've feed it much more than that. Has anyone else had this issue?

Does it drop anything or just xp? Yes it is 7 times to grow from a baby.
