How can you defeat a dragon that's at level 20 when max level is 15 for our dragons?

By selecting elements that are strong against the opposing dragon (if we ignore the and rarity & breedable variable). Sometimes you can have as much as a 4 element advantage on some dragons, sometimes like with Champions you only can have a 1 element advantage. It's also probability based so you have 8 different options (2x2x2), so depending on how many elements you have on the opposing dragon, you might get 1/8 chance, or 2/8 chance or if you have 4/8 chance you can get a single hit knockout!

Or was this a rhetorical question for S8....
