I bought one for $4.99 - a dragon and 150 gold. Good deal since I don't have time to try and breed the dragon with the diamond temple on sale, lol.

I actually already have the Lunar Horse. The bargain to me isn't the dragon, it's the gold bars. The dragon is a bonus. If a sale isn't on for gold you can get 120 bars for $4.99. Here you get 30 more bars plus a dragon for the same money.

After I bought this offer last week, my iTunes receipt said 'Starter Pack' on the details line. I've bought gold several times, among other items, including an actual starter pack as my first purchase ages ago for $2.99.

How is it being determined who is sent these offers?
