Alright so I noticed that it is completely random who you win with, and even if another player won with one animal doesn't mean you will too, for Example Round 29 I saw a few other players win with it, some 1st or 2nd round and I lost both rounds. There have been other times too were I try with one element common animal and lose the round but then later on again when I use it after losing with other animals I win. So in my opinion it is pointless posting results if it completely random... so I think this is the last time I post my results for the tournaments.
I might just post what elements are weak and strong against the animals. Everyone spends time posting the results and if they are completely random then that's a shame :/

Have you tried the new Garnet Pony? That's supposed to be strong against dark, or rainbow?
In my notes from that battle, I won with DeMonkey dark/fire! Electric fire were all strong.

I just wanted to thank you, from the bottom of...Well, my bottom (I'd say "from the bottom of my heart" but, even with all these weight loss issues, my bottom is still bigger! LOL!) For posting this detailed information so I know that it's not really worth my time and effort to attempt to finish this tournament at this late stage! I'm not worried about the financial loss on my android profile as that on has plenty to spare but I definitely can't afford to try it on my iPhone and, while I actually like snakes in real life, this creature will just get buried (if it ever even makes it out of storage) on the one profile I can manage to complete the tournament with. I just got to level 30 and I love the Diamondback (rattlesnake) at epic! It just may be the first snake I actually like, although I'll have to see how it looks in a neighbor's forest.

What level are you? I'm 97. I've been keeping track of the apples this tournament and I've received a total of 8,750, which is 50 apples more than previous tournaments. I received 750 apples after round 5, 1,000 apples after round 10, 1,500 apples after round 16, 2,500 apples after round 21 or 22 I forget, and 3,000 apples after round 28.

Just completed the tournament by defeating the Diamondbacks by Little Red using Nature (see my results in Post #7). This is not an easy tournament. A few rounds gave me hard time. I began to feel that the game is more deviating from the probability rule and often doesn't make sense. The game became less interesting now.

I did it with lightning leopard.
All animals can be easily defeated with regular ones. not even level 15 ones.

I was given the suggestion of using just the basic elements when I had difficulty. Many times it seems to work. Go figure because they are all common but they seem to be very effective even against super rare and ultra rare. I knocked out the Norse Horse and Adorabull with Lightning Leopard. Good luck

Rainbow is strong against both Water and Nature. However, all of my rainbow animals were not performing as well as the last two tournaments. I know your frustration. Other's success is no guarantee of yours. I checked other players' results during my fight. Often I saw others use the same animals successfully repeatedly in many rounds but these same animals did not work for me at all. I never failed to complete any tournaments since I seriously played this game. Some tournaments were easy but others felt they were very difficult but sometimes vice versa. The bottom-line is that the tournaments become more and more unpredictable and sometimes they do not make sense from the probability perspective.

I've been playing the game since it was launched and will tell you that I have seen no consistency. I've battled the same animal for hours sometimes a full day using an ultra rare and unable to defeat it. I've been doing something similar to what you have been suggested. If my ultra rare does not defeat the animal after 2-3 attempts, I switch to a super rare or a common animal which ends up working. I have been led to believe that using the same animal over and over again, whether it's an ultra rare or super rare, while unsuccessful is a bad idea.

Same seems to go for breeding. I've gone days breeding super rares and ultra rares, sometimes two ultra rares together and nothing, then use two common animals and I get it. I was always under the impression that we need to evolve our strongest animals, i.e. ultra rares and super rares and always breed with them. But that doesn't seem to be the case.

So I'm not feeling the tournaments at all just now. I start off ok then just lose and lose and lose again. Dnt no the last one I won and now we only get coins with odd bits of food? At my level (like a lot of u I imagine) coins is the last things I need. So I'm gonna lose this tournament again and have only gotten coins in return. Dnt no if I'm working at a loss or gain on coins tho since you pay per round and I have lost way more than iv won.

I actually finished the tournament two/three days ago. I've only won tournaments by spending gems at the last rounds, but this was so easy. I won most of the last rounds with critical hits all the time. I'm so happy, my first tournament without gems and with animals far away from max level.

After using common and rare animals I finished off the Norse Horse in 18 tries (once an hour for 18 hours) between yesterday and today. I spent today doing the same with Cornucobra and still no luck!! This has been happening quite often!! Obviously I will not be finishing this tournament as I don't have money to waste on buying gems...therefore I will now concentrate my efforts on breeding and feeding...no more tournaments or story lines, for the next few months anyway!! Good luck to those still trying and congrats to those who finished👍

My phone is having problems so I just used gems to do "ultimate attacks" the last couple rounds and get it over with. :/
I figure under 100 gems for a new animal isn't a bad deal.
