Confused about placing of merchandise

I don't understand why other stores place one or two selections all through the store and place racks and tables where they are inaccessible. Is there a purpose to this? Thanks. Dtorry54

Some players set their stores up this way to prevent sales of some of their items so they can build up a stock. Some players do this because it may be items that you can no longer
buy and they want to keep the items out for decoration.
